I think you should look at atleast the first part of zeitgeist the movie. they talk alot about where religion comes from and the sun. its really interesting and i think its a very good documentary. ?spelling/gramatics?
One thing people need to know about the Old Testament is that it was written by Kabbalist in a secret language called "the language of branches". The lay person, which includes clergy, can only perceive meaning at the level of its branches, but the true and hidden meaning is at the level of its roots. This level of understanding can only be apprehended by those who have reached a certain degree of spiritual attainment, and it was only for them that the Torah was written.
I don't know, perhaps. The translators would have to speak for themselves. The key point is to realize its meaning now, as it was written for this area of our collective spiritual development. We now have the capacity to apprehend its meaning, having been given the Zohar to decoded its hidden messages.
This video reminds me of something I read awhile ago about the word deity. It's derived from words like divum meaning sky and div and diu meaning shine, sky and day. I think it's unfortunate that the Egyptian teachings aren't as mainstream as other religions are today because it could teach people a lot about the sun and the stars.
Spot on. Religion is in the stars and our modern day perception has come from egyptians. I would of thought those that went to church as devotees to a religion had a strong understanding and researched background - how then have they got so entangled in a misconstrued web? (and it says in the bible 'thou shall not idolise a false god' - How ironic!
Been waiting for a video to come out like this - great stuff buddy.
Also interesting is that Sept 11th 2001 was the first day of the new millennium for many Egyptians. Sept 11th is their new years day, The Day of Queens in the Coptic "faith". And it was the first day of the first new year. Something to think about... even more ironic that no one seems to realize.
I don't think the Mason's share the calendar nor observe the Egyptian "Day of Queens" as a new year holiday. They do have similar interpretations of scriptures and recognize some of the same prophets. Interesting stuff to be sure.
The celestial beings told me that the God of this universe is not that concerned about the world's of time and space. He is only interested in personalities.....that would be ....you.
All people sit at the very center of the beatific vision.
Genesis 1 was written by a rabbi to emphasize the importance of observing the sabbath. Beginning at Genesis 2:4, you have another type of story (with another type of God). I think you would love seminary classes. :)
If you study the iChing, you may recognize the incredibly profound significance of the six stages and the seventh. This is sacred geometric physics of light. Hexagram 24 - a movement is accomplished in six stages the seventh is the return or the rest stage in which the process restarts. "The seven is the number of the young light, it forms when darkness is increased by one". This is over 5000 years old and is still ill understood though most scriptures have tried to preserve this knowledge. :-)
Great interpretation of Genesis and effective use of argument. (Particularly because arguable "the light of the world", "Son/Sun of God" can be traced back to the Egyptians) . Although technically you were advocating "Pantheism" or 'watered down atheism' . Regardless, very convincing!
I'm saying that God really exists since the Sun and the heavens really exist, and as they are the original intended meaning of the word "God". I'm not deifying the Sun and the heavens, but if you must deify something... why not the source of all life on this planet...

Very interesting.

Did the monks who translated it understand the branches?

...but if the branches were broken or not translated correctly, the meaning would be flawed.
