I think it's funny that it ends on a Starbucks cup after that rant. Tickets went on sale in NOVEMBER. People who love the festival will pay what they want to pay to go rather than missing it altogether. People will also learn from waiting too long to buy tickets since it sells out every year and have the money ready before the lineup next time.
Just FYI - i bought my ticket months in advance and the cheapest 4-day ticket available was $285.00. I can't stand scalpers either but you have plenty of time to buy a ticket at normal prices, you just have to do it before the lineup comes out next year. I agree these venues should do all they can to discourage scalping, but it makes people serious money so until that somehow stops, it will continue.
