@shafiqhacker2 The password the backwords spelling of root... Unless you set one in there, then that is something different... But this should be covered in the BT website where you download it from on the FAQ tab...
guess it is for dummies lol. I was just clicking on this vid to see bt5 and what it looks like.....and it's chmod.....no "e" in it so it's not chmode lol and you are changing the mode to executable...maybe that's where you got the "mode" from, but is chmod lol
@MrJhawk65 OOPS... Thanks for the spelling correction... Cant be perfect you know :) im just a human :D.. CHMOD = CHange MODe.. And that would be to any file...
@CureMyMind. thanks for your nice videos. but I have problem in your step 1. Here my step: 1. Dragon Icon start button 2. Settings 3. System Settings 4. Login Screen 5. Theme But I can't go any further because I don't have any of these below buttons: (Install new theme), (Remove Theme), (Get new theme) Pls help me: very much appreciate>>.
@maukbao you might need to re-install kdm... Did you also fix up the kdm in the /etc/init.d/ folder? I've seen this problem once where i found out that the install of BT didn't go quite soo well and that can lead to that problem. Hope this help's you out..
@metall174 I never said a password... :| the password is probably changed in your install... If you get the live BackTrack from the BT website then the defualt password is "toor" without the quotes... If you try TOOR it will not work you have to have lower case... And how am I a stupid author when im not even showing passwords? :| This video is only to show you how to get the GUI... No passwords involved in this video... So who is the STUID person here? Don't be mean and I wont be mean moron.
@xxmrbloodxx this only works for KDE, I'm trying to work out the bugs for GNOME... But so far GNOME has proven its self to be trouble-some when it comes to this... Hopefully i can figure it out soon, and then i can make a video... I did try the same method to this KDE to GNOME but it doesn't work :| which leaves me at a loss. The GDM doesn't want to load at boot up even when all information is inputed correctly. And im not sure why that is, and hopefully i figure it out soon.
@Bloodyfisted I had a problem with unetbootin. I had to use a different one like from linuxliveusb dot And that one seemed to have worked from me. Sometimes you just have to try different ones... Best of luck..
I like to studder some times :) it makes me happy hahahahahaha... I was going to show a video on this for BT4 but i thought id wait for BT5... Now you konw how to do things and go play with your self i mean your BT ;).... stay safe.
whats the password.. please i can't login
