  • I can tell he wanted to kill the interviewer when he asked "how long have you been in the hip-hop game?"...then he explained the difference between hiphop culture-graffiti, rhyming, etc, and the hiphop "game"-corporations, contracts, LIES...IT'S BIGGER THAN HIP HOP!!!...Hip-hop has been turned into a game, literally...now it's worth is based on album sales over content...DEAD PREZ, FUCK THE POLICE, LET'S GET FREE!!!

  • I agree with iamcitizen01, the hardcore punk rock was all about overhauling the government system. I am glad to see that dead prez is also doing that because there are too many rappers that talk about problems but no one offers any solutions.

  • Punk rock is in the same boat. We have some artists in the mainstream making a mockery of our name, undeserving of even being associated with the ideals of "punk" rock as a movement. We have others, especially more-so in the underground (and true) scene, with an agenda/goals/causes/pretense. There's a lot of potential in both of these genres because they are a force of social change first and an a source of entertainment second. Real mother fuckers, word up.
