The name of this video is misleading. M never said LG was reductive. She was referring to "Born this Way," which, as a pop song, would by its nature be at least somewhat reductive in trying to address ideas like embracing varied, historically clashing sexualities, ethnicities, etc. That doesn't make it bad, it just makes it a pop song, no more, no less. The name of this video is misleading. M never said LG was reductive. honestly Madonna just made herself look bad by attempting to jab at Gaga (who achieved unbelievable stardom in two years using her actual talent and her ability to make people feel good about themselves) All I'm saying is I respected Madonna much more when she recognized that Lady Gaga looked up to her instead of acting jealous that Born This Way was so successful.
