I live in the Bay Area, I ride BART during the weekdays and I'm a former police officer. A majority of the BART police officers are trained poorly and are people who could not get hired on by a city police department such as OPD, SFPD or SJPD.

Furthermore BART's pre-employment background investigations for police officer applicants is not very thorough... meaning BART hires people who should not be police officers.

Justice must be served in this case!

The police officers is so wrong for shooting Oscar. The video speaks for it self. Everyone should carry and use their cell phones and cameras anytime they see police approaching anyone for anything you never know how important it could be to record it.

4 times! in the 2002 case, the victim was in custody, handcuffed and in the back of a patrol car. charges weren't even brought against that officer.

this case wouldn't have come this far if it weren't for the celphone cameras and the diligence of the general public.

Do you know how many cops have been killed by negroes in 2010 alone? Take a wild guess. And remember that negroes are ten percent of the population, but are the criminal actor in 90% of all interracial crimes of violence. But the FBI doesn't count black on white crime as "hate crime". I guess blacks just happen to drive over to white neighborhoods to attack, rob, or rape, but it's not racial.

@Gulfporter Just last march OPD lost 4 officers to a wanted rapist here in Oakland and the gunman was black. But there were no protests for the cold blooded murder. He shot the 2 cops point blank in their heads execuation style. And there are people on here that are praising mixon for what he did. Mixons grandmother blamed the system for her grandsons actions.
