the logitec pro 9000 comes with rightsound as it also has right sound...and iff you download the adobe flash media live encoder you can fix the noise issues....i also have the logitech webcam

@vbognot626 Thats not what every typical youtube user does, and neither is it what a review is about doing. a good review is about "to-the-point", its about keeping it real and a relevant focus.

If you can do it in one take without an issue, awesome! If you cant, cut away the unfunny messing up words parts as to not confuse the viewer and speculative consumer what you're talking about. It's not necessary to "jump-cut" very often, but its necessary to make a good review = editing, sometimes.

I've had one of these webcams for about 2 years now. You are right about the microphone. I use the Samson co1u also. ALSO, I've turned off most, if not all of the automatic features of the camera. No rightlight, no autofocus, (because it constantly shifts, even when not necessary), No Nothing. If you shut off all the auto features and use an external microphone, it is a very good camera. One of the very best, picture-wise.

Sorry i don't wanna offend any people and i'm not a microsoft fan but the logitech quickcam Pro 9000 has been around for some time now. There is a new player in town and it's called the Microsoft Lifecam Cinema HD webcam. This webcam is far superior then the Pro 9000. Do your research on youtube there are a lot of reviews and comparison videos check them out before you buy a webcam. But i highly recommend the Lifecam Cinema HD. Its the best webcam i've ever bought !!!

I'd give it a 9/10, myself. Not even due to the microphone, because that's already expected to come up short. I found the software to be full of features, and useful in general, but sometimes it's just a little glitchy. The slide-out menus aren't always smoothly animated. However, this doesn't necessarily give reason to belittle the camera itself. The device is very durable (which is a rarity among webcams), and the other positives are in this video :D
