I absolutely loved the Yui episode. It made me cry happy tears when i saw this. Poor Yui. She is and always will be my favorite character from angel beats. Among Japanese fans, there are many critics against Otonashi. They say he "cheated", trying to be alone with Kanade after letting others disappear.
But if you ask me, Otonashi is one of my favorite characters. He dedicated his entire life to help others, helped the others fulfill their wishes in the world of Angel Beats.

In Episode 10 I kept on crying. Yui disappears and what Hinata tells her is touching. All the time I hear this song I almost cry if I don't stop myself. The first time I saw Ep.10 I didn't even try to hold back the tears I just started crying when this song was playing and what Hinata was telling Yui. Wow I started crying right now The chorus just breaks me down. Hinata be a good husband to Yui. Live a happy life.
Alright, I am 15 years old. I'm a guy. And I am a huge anime fan. Having watched 30+ animes, I had never cried during any of them. Nor had I cried except when I was little. The ending of this had me in tears. And this song, in episode 10, was one of the most beautiful things I had ever heard :)
Wow, even though My ears can't understand, it's as though my heart just knows, and then I can't hold back these tears. When the chorus comes, and it's like a bright light enters my being and illuminates all of the darkness that consumed me. For once, I see there is beauty in this world, you just have to know where to look. I really think this song saved my life
This song is so powerful. The very first time I heard this song, the first few chords clenched my heart so painfully. The moment her voice came in, my eyebrows frowned and my eyes began to water.... by the time the chorus came, I was done for. It's as if her voice sweetly forced the tears from my eyes. I cried harder at this song when I finally watched Angel Beats! Whenever this song was used during a scene I was drenched in my own tears. The most painfully beautiful song I have ever heard.
In less than 13 episodes, I had cried and laughed more than I had for other animes of over 200 episodes. The shorter, the better. God, this was such a bittersweet anime. When Otanashi died after the train wreck, I cried so hard, but by the end of the episode I was smiling. Same with episode 9, 10, and 2. And all the others. By far the best anime I have ever watched. And from me, that means something.
i would say this is more of a movie then anything but...i brought manly tears on the last episode i balled my eyes out and has made me change my opinion on life itself i believe my purpose in life is making people as happy. if their happy im happy.

It's always the shorter anime that has the more stronger impact on people for some reason. It ALWAYS has us wanting more, and wishing it was longer. Beautiful music with meaning like this just makes everything about Angel Beats even better than it is. Reading the English translation made me realize how exactly deep the meaning of this song is. So sad. :(

@SenouNatsuru80 If you want a similar show, you can always see Clannad, and Clannad: After Story. The first one is a normal drama show, obviously nice and that all but nothing special. But the second one, is really amazing, one of the best shows I've ever seen, and the best drama by far. Worth it, really, worth it. It's as beatiful as Angel Beats, or even more :) .
I cant wait for the special. It comes out Dec. 22, 2010. (Im a HUGE Angel Beats fan so I keep track of these things.) In Episode 10 I kept on crying. Yui disappears and what Hinata tells her is touching. All the time I hear this song I almost cry if I don't stop myself. The first time I saw Ep.10 I didn't even try to hold back the tears I just started crying when this song was playing and what Hinata was telling Yui. Wow I started crying right now The chorus just breaks me down. Hinata be a good husband to Yui. Live a happy life.

Alright, I am 15 years old. I'm a guy. And I am a huge anime fan. Having watched 30+ animes, I had never cried during any of them. Nor had I cried except when I was little. The ending of this had me in tears. And this song, in episode 10, was one of the most beautiful things I had ever heard :)

Wow, even though My ears can't understand, it's as though my heart just knows, and then I can't hold back these tears. When the chorus comes, and it's like a bright light enters my being and illuminates all of the darkness that consumed me. For once, I see there is beauty in this world, you just have to know where to look. I really think this song saved my life

This song is so powerful. The very first time I heard this song, the first few chords clenched my heart so painfully. The moment her voice came in, my eyebrows frowned and my eyes began to water.... by the time the chorus came, I was done for. It's as if her voice sweetly forced the tears from my eyes. I cried harder at this song when I finally watched Angel Beats! Whenever this song was used during a scene I was drenched in my own tears. The most painfully beautiful song I have ever heard.

In less than 13 episodes, I had cried and laughed more than I had for other animes of over 200 episodes. The shorter, the better. God, this was such a bittersweet anime. When Otanashi died after the train wreck, I cried so hard, but by the end of the episode I was smiling. Same with episode 9, 10, and 2. And all the others. By far the best anime I have ever watched. And from me, that means something.

i would say this is more of a movie then anything but...i brought manly tears on the last episode i balled my eyes out and has made me change my opinion on life itself i believe my purpose in life is making people as happy. if their happy im happy.

I just finished the last episode like 5 minutes ago and its a short anime but i'm glad it is only 13 episodes this is the most awesome anime i have watched in a while i dunno why so many people hate it but idc what the people think i just loved this series there is many other short series but this one beats all of them i guess its not an anime for you if your some emotionless idiot there is no boobs or panties been show its just awesome

It's always the shorter anime that has the more stronger impact on people for some reason. It ALWAYS has us wanting more, and wishing it was longer. Beautiful music with meaning like this just makes everything about Angel Beats even better than it is. Reading the English translation made me realize how exactly deep the meaning of this song is. So sad. :(

@SenouNatsuru80 If you want a similar show, you can always see Clannad, and Clannad: After Story. The first one is a normal drama show, obviously nice and that all but nothing special. But the second one, is really amazing, one of the best shows I've ever seen, and the best drama by far. Worth it, really, worth it. It's as beatiful as Angel Beats, or even more :) .

I cant wait for the special. It comes out Dec. 22, 2010. (Im a HUGE Angel Beats fan so I keep track of these things.) But thats when its released in Japan so we will probably have to wait a little longer for subs but I dont care cause I love this series. I love his song. Thx for the song and lyrics. ^-^
