  • Thank you for sharing your voyage. Truly inspiring. Don't know if you would know this, but how does the crossing compare on a catamaran verses a monohull. Also, what type and length of sail Cat did you guys use? Thanks again for sharing.

  • Hi. Our first boat was a 26 ft mono. We sailed her for 3 years then got the Cat, which is a 38ft/11m Lagoon 380, year built 2004. you can find specs on 'net.

Vastly superior to mono for comfort, and sailing speed.Handled weather very well.

It was an unforgettable experience well worth all the preparation and of course concerns that come with a long voyage. Highly recommended . Thanks for writing.

  • Thank you. A catamaran is what I've been leaning towards: Fountaine, Leopard, or Lagoon. Although I live in the states, I have property in Dominica and it just seems perfect to have a craft such as yours to tour the islands and perhaps even beyond. Thanks again for sharing your experiences.

  • hey Zenoyogo,We left Panama in early March and arrived in Australia in late October. We are now in beautiful Thailand.

  • Great video with some beautiful pics. How many days did it take for you to get from Panama to Sydney? Thanks for sharing.
