I remember watching this actual bit of footage German TV! Was staying in Hanover. Was watching German TV, aged 14. Show was similar to whtat we would have on in UK, a summer 'Pop Special' presented by a german dj with a dogy perm and an even dodgier taste in purple shiny jumpsuits. Loved the song, like nothing on the radio in UK at the time.
