Your wank. Modded ZR1 with a some downforce and you can keep your foot in throughout. You should be doing 49's on your first lap and 43.5's hot.

I borrowed my friends chaparal 2j and adjusted the transmission and was able to ht 240 on the straights at indy. Its such a great car. The only problem is you got to slow down so much to make the turn at indy or you hit the wall.

@Acageron thanks. what did u use for the corvette? front and back downforce were at what levels? in the info you mention 10, so u mean the front is 10 more than the back?

Just use a nascar mod it a lil and it will work

@varaHerra turn abs off, use soft tires and u might have to buy one of the weight reductions... cant remember which one. and perhaps adjust transmission so it goes faster.

I beat the American championship using the nascar i had previously. u just have to practice a lil with it

@ku42 all you have to do is race mod the zr1, add racing soft tires, increase downforce by 10(variable), & upgrade the modded zr1 to 800 so HP.

@Acageron how do you change the tires to soft? mines is on hard and already purchased the soft ones? the downforce has to be on the rear and front right? 815 is that good?

@ku42 Right before you start the race, go into "Driving Options" and you should see the tires option. & yeah, increase down force on both rear and front. It will help your turning. 815 should be fine. If I recall, I had like 845 on this race. Just add more if you can't beat it.

@Neptunz05 good question. To find down force: Garage > Select Car > Tuning > Body/Chassis > Aerodynamics > Downforce. Increasing Downforce helps you make better turns at greater speeds, but it decreases max speed, especially on straights. For Indy, higher down force is better.
