  • And now the Iraq Vets are baby killers. History always repeats its self

  • Thank you veterans of Vietnam. It wasn't right and it wasn't fair what you all had to go through after you came home.

  • Fuck the hippies. They lost us the vietnam war and disrespected millions of men that were braver than them.

  • @0neofthem

"they lost us the vietnam war"

Invaders generally lose wars. The whole conflict was absolutely contrived and completely unnecessary, unethical/illegal too. The "hippies" didn't lose "us" the Vietnam war, the Vietnamese defended their land and kicked our ass, even though we had superior technology/other advantages.

I'm not condoning the assholes who spit on vets and called them baby-killers, that's fucked up and beyond disrespectful.

  • @kphzorz The United States did not lose a single battle in the Vietnam war and for every single US soldier killed there were nine NVA/ VC killed. Those are just two facts to consider next time yo try to say the Vietnamese kicked our ass.

  • @kewlboy567

Consider this also, winning battles doesn't equate to winning wars.

  • i will never understand how people can disrespect any soldier who is doing their duty, i would just like to thank all the servicemen who put their lives on the line everyday so we can live in a relatively peaceful state, because there will never be world peace and this is why we need our armed forces so lets be grateful for their efforts and be thankful we were not put in their situation and if people cannot do this there truly is no future for any of us !!!!!!!

  • you know what pisses me off? we almost won vietnam the usa and the south were kicking ass but then assholes like jane fonda got to us and we backed out we turned our back on the south and when our troops got home they were spat on and half of them didnt want to join they got drafted.

  • Fuck hippies. They protested against the war to "bring our troops home" and treated our vets like shit when they came home.

  • I almost cried! I got mixed emotions while watching this.

  • The U.S is finally welcoming the Vietnam veterans back, because now they have a new Vietnam.

  • My husband was a corpsman in Vietnam. He saved the lives of both No. and So Vietnamese and their children. To say that our service men were baby killers without saying the enemy put bombs on small children to blow up our troops is hypocritical. And we were there fighting the war because of a treaty that was implemented years before which prohibited the spread of Communism below a certain parallel. Our soldiers were drafted and politicians interceded; making it virtually impossible to win.

  • OORAH!! Thank you DAVEANNARINO for uploading this video. Thanks to our Vietnam veterans!!

  • And dam, these fucking green freaks took it too far, THEIR country sent them to die or loose their friends, then they come home to be spat on, fucking hippies, I hate then, I'm not demanding war, but I'm not appreciated these assholes either, maybe they should have been dumped in battle as a human fucking shield and see what it's like!

  • @jimmyxx3 Keep in mind that not all people who protested the war back then hated the actual guys who were out there fighting in it. As a matter of fact, I know many veterans who returned from there and in retrospect feel we should have never been there in the first place. I’m sure you do too.

  • Sheesh, at least the enemy doesn't phone then at midnight whining like assholes...

No war veteran should be treated like this, thanks for this video, now I'm certainly not joining the US military.

  • I arrived home in December 1969 at Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CN after serving with the 1st Air Cavalry as an Infantryman / RTO in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. As I got off the plane and met my family, I immediately went to the mens' room and changed from dress greens into civilian clothes. I finally got beyond my anger, and work now to help heal the "wounds" so many experienced. Feel free to visit my website @ ourturntoserve.weebly.com.

  • To The Average America, please always remember.... "America's Warriors have always stepped up to the plate for our freedoms and liberties and many have paid the ultimate sacrifice and some have survived to endure worse. HONOR THEM, RESPECT THEM, LOVE THEM & NEVER FORGET THEM! I salute you all!" Sparrow Six-Five!

  • Wow...this video took my breath away! I love you all so much and wish I could hug you and put the honor in your heart that you all deserve! Thank you so much for your service and all your sacrifices for this great Country and for my freedoms. Stay safe, be well and keep kicking ass for America! I salute you all! Hugs, Sparrow Six-Five!

  • Lets all hope they had a few hugs , lets hope they all had a few beers, and lets hope they went on the range , tied Jane Fonda to a fig 11 target , then let ripe into her!

  • as much as i think this war was wrong, these guys did not deserve the treatment they got.

  • i don't hate them .. but they were gullible buffoons.. following the orders of USA imperialist nation

    RED CHINA FOREVER!!

  • @DarkprinX2500 i should kill you fucking pig bitch commy punk ass

  • @NewKidVidz yes im a commie.. communism is a legitimate system government.. so what if im a communist.. whats it to ya.. are you gonna go all j edgar hoover on me..lmao

oh no the big bad communist .... at least we're not slaves to big huge corporations and bankers..

USA is lapdog of israel.. go lick your zionist masters boots..

  • @DarkprinX2500 Correct me if I'm wrong but why is it that communist countries always fail and capitalist countries succeed? Why is it that China, the USSR, North Korea had to kill millions just to promote communism? Everywhere the communist spread, they devastated the country. Capital shouldn't belong to the state but into the people in order for ingenuity. If we were communist, you wouldn't have YouTube or your computer or all of the other products and services that we have today.

  • @MoisesZTech (claps)

  • @DarkprinX2500 they got drafted you fucking dumbass

  • @seon126 why didn't they resist... why didn't they say no

  • @DarkprinX2500 you cant say no to a draft or else you go to jail, your prob going to say you would have went to jail. No you wouldent, its easy to be tough shit over the internet as a keyboard soldier. also when these guys enlisted nobody knew that the vietnam war was going to last 10 years and be so bad. They were just doing the job you the american people told them to do.

  • @seon126 You are so right.

  • @FLICKtheUSA that's absurd you reprobate scumbag. I mean you are trying to sound intelligent and then you say that stereotypical anti-american jargon. Stop looking for an audience, you are at most..laughable.

  • @FLICKtheUSA when I say this I think I speak for the majority of people. Fuck you

  • I have a graphics arts teacher who is the nicest man I've ever met, and I was shocked to hear he served in the army in the Vietnam war I thank him personally.

  • Watching this actually made me shed a tear. To think that these men were disrespected for doing what they were asked, men who put their life on the line for the United States. These veterans of war, and the soldiers of today who are defending our country have my eternal gratitude for their service. God bless America.

  • 1million vietnamese died for no reason

  • Last month I had a few drinks with some work buddies, & I decided we should play a trick on my Father-in-Law (who has Alzheimer’s).

We turned up at his house & the guys pretended to be UN Criminal Court Officers, here to interrogate him over the killing of civilians in Vietnam. The old guy fell for it completely- we questioned him for over 2hrs & he was a total shivering wreck when we left!

He talks about the incident, but my wife just thinks it’s his persecution paranoia getting worse.

  • my father went to Vietnam twice with the Australian army. when he came home he had blood thrown over him. I have hated war all my life, I have fought against war all my life. but i will NEVER NEVER tolerate the abuse heaped on those people who go and do our dirty work for us,whether we approve of the particular war or not. I have seen and met many veterans. I have known veterans and veterans' children who have killed themselves, suffered mental illness and worse war is hell, don't blame veterans

  • Fuck hippies

  • I always help vets. They diserve better. So what they lost, at least they voulnteered and risked their lifes on the line for ungratefull, closeminded, ignorat liberals. Thank you for your guys service and everone else. :)

  • @FightingSpirt Thank you, my friend for the kind thoughts. That said, just one correction to your post: We Vietnam vets did NOT lose the war. We brought the North to the bargaining table where a cease fire was (much the same as Korea) agreed to. It was CONGRESS that sold us out by refusing to finance enforcement of the agreement, thereby leaving the South with no support at all from us. A little research will bear this out. The idea of us losing that war is just a lie from the lefties.

  • I think the veterans of the Vietnam war were horribly treated. This is beautiful. Truly is. It is just sad that it took all this time to respect them...Like its disgusting the lack of respect given to veterans in this country. Only soldiers of the Iraq and Afghanistan war are given some "recognition"...Even they are not given enough respect. But overall....The veterans of all the wars need immense respect and at least a thank you...Its disgusting that people even have to say that.

  • Heroes

  • hmm....my eyes must have something in them?

My grandfather was in the vietnam war and they should have gotten this welcome home WHEN they got HOME!

THANK YOU SOLDIERS! YOU HAVE BROUGHT ME MY FREEDOM AND I WILL ALWAYS BE GREATFUL FOR YOU ALL <3

  • About time those vets got the home greeting they deserved because its the hippys fault that the those vets who didn't have the choice to go there but had to, to be treated like shit

  • Every Vietnam veteran I know bitches about how they were treated whilst simultaneously expecting to have their asses kissed for the rest of their lives. WWII and Korean War veterans never act that way. Whenever my father and his buddies bring up Vietnam, I just roll my eyes and prepare to hear about how war is hell (again), as if anyone was under the misapprehension that it is pleasant. How many parades are enough already?

  • This warms my heart. I can't thank 'Nam veterans enough.

  • welcome home guys, you have not been forgotten :) god bless our vietnam vets

  • Thank you to all the U.S vets along with the ANZACs ( Australia and New Zealand)

You fought in a unpopular war and didn't recieve the respect you were ( and still are) due.

My father was a part of a NZ special forces group specialising in jungle warfare ( experience gained in the malayan jungles) He never had to put up with the abuse you guys did but at the same time he was basicly ignored when he got home, that's bad enough in my opinion.

Anyway, you ALL have my respect for what its worth.

  • Thank you. Welcome home.

  • my uncle was in Vietnam...and now he has cancer and probably wont live the rest of the year :( ......love you Jerry....and thank you

  • the real heroes of Vietnam were the draft dodgers.

I hope there's a war with Iran. When 100,000 troops come back dead and they bring back the draft, I'm going to evade it. :)

I'll send postcards to your APO boxes.

  • @FLICKtheUSA That's cool, I wouldn't want someone like you to fight for me anyways <3

  • @alliebug1988

this country isn't worth fighting for. I'd rather fight against it.

  • @FLICKtheUSA If you do not like and support this country and its flag, then you'd best find another place you would like to be in.

Because if you do not support it, then it will not support you.

  • @FLICKtheUSA fight and kill all the people you know did every person in the us treat you like shit

  • @alliebug1988 SWEET! More targets to shoot at. Thanks bud, the Glocks have been itchin' for something to practice on :)

  • @FLICKtheUSA Oh you again. Your just a moron. You said negative comments on a Korean war vid also. What's your problem with the vets?

  • @historyman9

    "you're"

The US military consists of America's rejects. Vets think they're some sort of hero for being subservient to a bunch of jackasses.

    They're not men.

  • @FLICKtheUSA Easy now, spelling Nazi. If you don't want to serve our nation that's fine with me. You would probably commit blue on blue in battle, just for fun.

  • @historyman9

You're probably right. However the reason I don't "serve" is the fact I'm too smart and they don't pay well enough.

  • @FLICKtheUSA Then get yourself up in rank. Dur. Someone who stays as an NCO for their life obviously isn't getting paid too much. And it's not like you have to stay in the military for life once you join, not a lot of people consider it a permanent profession. Too smart? You just admitted that you would probably commit an act of friendly fire intentionally.... you would receive a court martial for that. Now that doesn't make you sound smart at all.

  • @historyman9

I would do it in a way that wouldn't get me caught - dur.

If an admiral can get a medal for shooting down an iranian airliner, I'm sure I could take out a sarge or two.

In order to get "up in rank" you need to know somebody. That's how McCain got in.

What makes me smart is the fact that while people like you are marched off to die, I'll be pulling all sorts of capital gains. Hell, I have a few mutual funds through a German broker that has assets in Iran.

  • @FLICKtheUSA Uh no, you don't need to "know someone" to get up in rank. You can do ROTC, which make you a 2nd lieutenant immediately, and let's not forget West Point either. As for NCOs, they have to a take a class for almost every rank. Oh and action in the field will get you promoted as well, also if you stay in a foreign country you're bound to be promoted faster, airborne and ranger school also help.

  • @historyman9

To get into any decent pay grade - yes you have to know somebody. Flag officer promotions must be nominated by the President and approved by the Senate. That's just part of it.

The military is just like any other government agency.

  • @FLICKtheUSA Flag Officer? Of course you would have know someone for a rank that high! You need to be a great tactician, as well as taken notice of by your branch. I'm talking about (Army ranks) from about O-1 to O-6. Any higher than that is a general, and yes you do need to know someone for that, such as other generals who may have taken notice of your actions. And since when is $70,000 a year with benefits not a decent pay grade? I wouldn't even wanna be a general just an officer.

  • @historyman9

It's mediocre - by my standards at least. But I guess that's what happens in a society governed by classes.

  • @FLICKtheUSA They're the ones who fought for your freedom while you sit on your computer and do nothing. I dare you to go one day into battle and see what they do for your freedom.

  • Vietnam Veterans we truly appreciate your service! All the negative comments hurt and are disrespectful. Some people just don't understand what our soldiers go through. THANK YOU!!!

  • A great video that raises the emotions.

  • How can someone dislike this video?

  • proud of what my uncle did back then and the thought of people calling him a baby killer truely haunts him and still has nightmares to this day but im proud to carry on the marine life SEMPER FI!

  • The people who protested these fine men, who spat on them and called them baby killers... they had no right.

Who were they to pretest these veterans? They hadn't been there and no idea what they went through.

  • @frankydman Same thing happens in middle east

  • @USparatroopersurgeon Nothing like it did to my generation of Vietnam warriors, though. There are MANY who learned the hard way, and will NEVER ever allow what was done to the Nam veterans be done again to any military personnel. It was disgraceful, and we lost a great number of men over there, and many more after they came home. Even some Veterans of Foreign Wars would not allow them to join....

  • @marlee51 yeah...I hate how stupid America can be sometimes...fucking hippies

  • @frankydmansome were indeed baby killers, study the My Lai atrocity, do you suffer selective memory loss

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY

As a matter of fact, No, I don't. First of all, it's called the My Lai MASSACRE, not atrocity. Second, the soldiers involved in that were charged with criminal offences, and the platoon leader of those involved was found guilty and convicted. Thirdly, that has absolutely nothing to do with the point I am making. (Continued in next comment)

  • The point I am making is that unless you (not you specifically, but anti-war protesters in general) were there, and knew EXACTLY what the soldiers went through, you have no right to insult the soldiers.

Look, you're free to be against war all you want, but you never, never, NEVER insult or disrespect the veterans... they went through enough already and have a right to respect.

  • Alot of people say that killed so many civilians. Sadly they dont know the true story. The fith commandment says Thou Shall Not Kill....dosent say Thou Shall Not Protect

  • @nirvanafreak619 there is no such commandment. that is mistranslation of what it says in hebrew.

in hebrew that commandment is written: לא קטילח which means :don't MURDER, not kill. there is a difference.

lets say you are attacked and during the struggle you punch the guy and he falls and cracks his scull and dies...

now.... you have killed... you caused his demise, yes...... but did you murder him? absolutely not! that is the

    difference......

  • @gyreenedoc its in the Christian religion

  • @nirvanafreak christianity is messianic judaism.

  • @gyreenedoc okay

  • My Gramps was in Nam, and he told me a lot of stories about it. He told that he killed over 30 people at the time, but he had to.

  • semper fi marines!!!!!!! hoorah!!!!!

  • My Dad is a Vietnam Veteran and I am so proud of him! He is my Hero because he IS a true hero! All soldiers and veterans are true heros! Welcome home! <3

  • Poor guys, Im not even American , and i feel for them.. Up most respect to these brave fella's

  • My old man server 2 terms in Vietnam. He voluntered for his first term and chose for a second. He went from 66 to 72 with honorable discharge/ Warren oregon farmer boy. He passed away on march 25 2011. I remember him telling me when he was getting discharged they told him not to wear his uniform when he got back. I will never forget him, and am proud he served, and am proud of everyone who served in the war!

  • @airbats801 the country called and he answered. among many others. When he returned he served 40 years at oregon steel mill, and passed away shortly before retirement.. He hated what thi country has turned into.

  • who would dislike this video?

  • Thankyou for this video, long over due....VietVet 67---70 Welcome Home Brothers and Sisters..love yas

  • Vietnam Veterans, Job well done, Welcome home Hero's of America! Liberals GO TO HELL! The Liberals have killed over 40,000 million babies in this country by abortion with tax payer money. These same faceless cowards are the same ones who spit on the Vietnam Soldiers coming home!

  • What's with the 42 dislikes Goddammit?!

  • good job soldiers :) you vets will always have my respect.

  • To all of you who actually have the audacity to criticize these men...FUCK you. Fuck off. Go take your liberal minded communist bullshit to a place where you DON'T have men willing to serve their country, and enjoy that.

  • @JakeTheShep liberal communism... now THATS funny

  • im sure there is alot of people here that can enlighten me on what the vietnam war was fought for?

  • @PuffSmelly North Vietnam's aggression against South Vietnam.

  • GOD BLESS ALL VETERANS..THANK YOU FOR OUR FREEDOM AND FOR THE SACRIFICE MADE BY YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES

  • For people who clicked dislike on this video are either vietnamese or traders to the U.S.. VIetnam veterans went through way to much to get such little respect. You people who clicked dislike shouldnt be able to have any rights. Vote. Or live in this country

  • Comment removed

  • Fucking hippies and assholes cant even respect thier own war vets. Theres too many pussies in america these days

  • This made me cry. Welcome Home.

  • im n tears brothers !!! Never would think america would come to this.. 300 Spartans forever !!!!! I think ive read sumthn n the Bible bout this... Mens hearts will wax cold... hmm all these responses frm people who have never done nothn n life...seems odd that bad morals r lifted and people who accually done a duty would b pressd dwn.

  • yay

  • Who the hell could dislike this? These men are heroes in my mind...who answered the call when it wasn't a popular decision to make. They deserve our respect.

  • Semper Fi

  • God bless.

  • I get to choose my heros, its not rock and roll or country stars. My heros are NOT hollywood. You have always been my heros!!

  • Thank you. In country 1966/67

  • There were obviously 39 overly excited people who mistakenly clicked the "dislike" button in their haste to get to the "like" button!

  • THANK YOU!!!! Each and every one of you! From the bottom of my heart......thank you!

And a big ol Mama Bear hug!!

  • 9 years in so far. It always breaks my heart on how Vietnam veterans were treated back then and how veterans are not given the care and help they need even today. I'd love to do this for them as well. I would also love to have a day to meet in Washington DC near the Vietnam Memorial wall and thank each and every single man and woman that served over there.

Remember: There is more value in TALKING to someone and listening, than giving them meds.

  • God Bless our Veterans. Remember: FREEDOM is NOT FREE!

  • Welcome home to all of our courageous Vietnam veterans. Your service IS appreciated!

  • All the negative comments are from communists.

  • @Dragdamar Nah man the Reds supported their vets too...the negativity comes from those ignorant hippies.

  • What 39 tree huggin' communist lovin' hippies dislike this. Morons the whole lot of them. God bless America and God Bless our Troops!

  • god damn hippies

  • hippie bastards

  • I hate hippies

  • do you think their racist?

  • I love you my heros!

  • fucking hippy fucks

  • Fucking hippies have no idea what these men had done for our country.

i pay all my respect to the veterans who served in the Vietnam War

Rest in Peace of those who fell in the war.

You guys made the country proud.

  • My uncle was in the Vietnam war and said that he had his best friend die in his arms. That war changed the way he thought about death.

  • Anyone seen this?

    /watch?v=haY0ARq09sM&feature=related

  • Thank you for this video. Wish I could have been one of them walking into that hanger. Mindful of those friends of mine who never made it back.

I remember having rocks thrown at us and we had to run to avoid getting hit.

We'd be walking on the sidewalk and people would cross the street to avoid having to pass us or even to make eye contact.

Not to mention the names we were called. A Vietnam vet.

  • I'm a Vietnam Veteran, 62 years young now..I have had 5 operations, relating to cancers, which were removed twice..We have to understand that mistakes were made by ALL of us...I have NOT met a Nam Vet who would (if healthy enough) not re-up for this country if asked..all we would like is to have our service Honored and for the country to fulfill its commitment to ALL HONORABLE Veterans, Medically, Morally, do what is Correct, and learn from our mistakes..Thank You, Mike

  • Well, it's one, two, three, what are we fighting for?

1971-1978, US Army, Thank you for this video.

It still hurts. But, thank you.

  • Thank you Vietnam vets! And your buddy's who never made it home

  • This made me cry in a good way :)

  • Thank you for this video. Though I was not one of those who went because of a student deferment, I have nothing but respect for those who fought for our country. Though they never asked for recognition, but hatred they endured was in no way justified. They will always have my gratitude for their service.

  • America, Well Done !!!!

  • Thank you veterans of all era's, of all wars. I honor and respect all of you and I count myself lucky to know even a handful of you. If my arms were wide enough, I'd hug you all.

  • Leonid Brezhnev : - Mister Nixon Bring That Wall Down :D Brezhnev was way cooler than that Gorbachov traitor .. Well got nothing against the brave soldiers fighting for the most corrupt regime in the world , but USA-state honoring its murderous past is a little too much , i wonder when they will start to honor Hitler and Mussolini too in their history books but it has begun , now they pay Putin billions to forge soviet documents n stuff so that lies find their way to historybooks..

  • Fuck hippies I hate them. Worst scum to ever populate the U.S.

  • @eLoRiGiNaL650 Relaaax man, why you gotta be such a violent person? Chill and find the peace inside you

  • Manly tears were shed.

  • This video makes me cry every time when he touches his buddy's name on the memorial wall.

  • i cried to this

  • God bless everyone of the veterans who obeyed the call of duty, and to those 58,000 who obeyed but never came back. You are all heroes.

  • May God bless all my brothers who made it home from Vietnam. And God embrace forever those that did not. Never forget. And thank you to all the posters who support us.

    A Vietnam Veteran.

  • .....there were two classes of people during vietnam..........the ones who served their country and the chicken s____who ran off to Canada.

  • I choose to ignore the Idiots...........there are just too many of them. It just breaks my heart ( after all those years)I can not forgive ( truely forgive) the American people and especially this government for what they done to the Vietnam veteran. Too little-too late. God Bless America

  • WHY PEOPLE HAVE ISSUES ABOUT THEM? THEY ARE HEROS. THEY FOUGHT COMMUNISM. THEY UPHOLD VALUES THAT WHAT AMERICA IS ABOUT. THEY ARE ON THAT LINE OF HEROISM.

  • I have no relatives in this war, but with all due respect to our US veterans i say: THANK YOU for doing what none of the rest wanted to, for sacrificing yourselves for us!

  • This is great all people who treat veterans like that are going to he'll. that's not right to treat people who protect your country that way. You really want a bunch of asians running around here yelling bunzai stabbing people? this vid made me almost cry it was so great:)

  • It sucks to say but we are still greeted the same way occasionally. After returning home from oef wounded, in the airport terminal in a back brace on crutches wearing the purple heart still called a murderer. I did it for my country. Judge if Yu will but you'll never know what we did

  • Comment removed

  • In 18 months I saw and did everything imaginable. When we landed in the USA most of us changed into civilian clothes for the final leg home. Even so, we were easy to pick out as G.I.s with our short hair and farmer tans.

In the airports, we were so many that we seemed invisible. As you walked past another guy, the ribbons on his chest would tell you what he had been through but nobody talked much about it.

Not once did anyone say thank-you.

Alive and home again, a boy from Iowa grows up.

  • @4thidsoldier I'd just like to say, i am very young, and you know what, screw them! if i was there when you were, i would have gave you nice clean handshake, say good job, and pat you on the back, but you know what, my grandfather fought in the Vietnam War, he made it back, but died 3 years ago, and before he died he told me, "never treat a man like i was treated, and if you do, i swear i will haunt you" haha, but i have never said an offensive thing since

  • 38 people need their throats cut..USA! fuck the rest.

  • My grandfather served in Vietnam ( M. Velez ). It kills me to hear how they where treated when they came home and see some viets on corners. And to think that as soldiers fighting for these country so we can live the fucking lives we live everyday and to treat the people that are fighting for us and this country like trash is bullshit. They earn there rights to be called an American. So you think of some thing you did that can match that and to call your self an American!!!!

  • Saddest video I have ever seen. Fuck hippies

  • Made me cry I love our veterans and the people who are serving us as I type this thank you guys and girls for your help god bless an come home safe. love from Alaska.

  • so beautiful. it made me almost cry!!!! veterans have done so much for our country, and although it is sad to see how long it took, they got the welcome back they definitely deserved -3 WELCOME HOME!

  • Very long over due, as a vet myself, I find it appalling that it took 36 years for this to happen! But glad it has been done so.

  • People i blame: Nixon and Bush. nuff said.

  • Geico cave mans grand papi?

Lol jk god bless the vets and America!

  • in war blame the politicians and not the soldiers who risk their lives

  • Brought tears to my eyes. God bless the troops of the past, present and future.

  • Semper Fidelis

  • Oh, by the way, Semper Fi!
