I was part of the Alliance for paired donation program. My brother gave his kidney so that I could recieve one from an altruistic donor from Colorado. They don't care to tell the 5% of donors that suffer from donating, and the 1% that will suffer life long complications.

@reidqa ,my wife is donor that had a long recovery period. Had to quit my job to care for her because of risk of infection having to work around human waste. I am starting a foundation to help the 5% and 1%.
