  • one question: when what this video filmed? looks like about 02'

  • what state is this in

  • i don't get it, what was wrong with the train?

  • u only said holy crap

  • that was huge! haha

  • Not good that the flasher stop when there are still two cars left to cross!

  • I bet an idiot would start moving when they came off and ran right into that coil car.

  • Well skyman2002, crap really isn't a bad word, but it's just my opinion.

  • wat u say holy crap

  • Lol, 1729 is in alot of your videos.

  • @thetreeregimovies Wait, was that a 5 at the end? :P

  • Nice catch, skyman!

    Did you inform the railroad?

    Signals activate at :34

Train arrives at 1:05 = 31 seconds warning time.

Whistle sequence should start a littlearlier.

Why the STOP signs when you have signals?

    Thank you for your posts.

  • I love how you said it would be a long train and it turned out to be 4 cars.

  • HA HA HA HA HA

    You're a very naughty crossing

  • The signal did warn of the approaching train in ample time, and the train was way into the crossing before the signal went dark. So if someone were to hit the train at that point they're either blind, retarted or stupid and deserve to die. Granted the signal shouldn't do that but common sense is common sense.

  • yeah man, lets ram a train. hey but theres a thing flashing that says we shouldnt ram it ! huh? but look, i can still ram it lets go

  • On a one-track line it may not be a big deal. However on a two-track line if the signal goes off as another train is coming, that could spell major problems!!

  • There used to be a signal in Flowery Branch, GA that would randomly go down, wait a few seconds, and go up. I've even seen it go up in the middle of a train, go back down, and come back up for the rest of the train. Luckily, after someone hit the gate, the crossing mechanism was replaced, and it all works fine now.

  • @trainkid16 o_O My cousin lives in Flowery Branch!!!!!!!!!

  • Iceman is such a wimp. Fun to laugh at him.

    Interesting that the signals stop.

    Hope you informed the railroad.

But only a very minor problem.

    Have they fixed it?

  • Lol Saying Holy Crap XD But Me Its Holy Diver.........

  • That word is not really that bad compared to it's sister(the S word) or the granddaddy of them all, the F word

  • The crossings in my town shut off before the train actually gets to the crossing.

  • what year was this in?

  • Wow!

  • As far as I can tell, this crossing is a DC only crossing, without any motion sensors or predictors. If that's the case, here's what happened: The train shunted the approach, so the interlocking relay dropped that approach, activating the crossing. The train went through the crossing, but the remaining cars were still in the first approach, keeping the crossing active. The other approach is locked out from dropping. The island circuit didn't work at all, or there was a LOS (Loss of Shunt).

  • (Continued from above) Once the last train car exited the approach, the crossing shut off because the interlocking relay picked up, and the island circuit didn't work at all to keep the crossing active until the train exited the island. That's the best info I can give without looking at the crossing circuitry. I could be wrong on the type of dectection, but I'm certian that there isn't any motion sensor or predictor because the crossing shuts off immediatly after the train clears the island.

  • Makes Sence. But Somtimes When The Trains Are Either Going Faster, Or There Is A Light Power Move Over The Crossing, The Signals Time Out When The Train Is Past The Crossing About 300 Feet Away. You Can See It In My Other Malfunction Video.

  • @skyman2002 Why Are You Starting Each Word With A Capital Letter?

  • love your videos man

  • As Mr Bill would say.... OHH NOOOO! lol

  • nice vid but crap is not a bad word.

  • btw, since this is in MA, do any of the MBTA trains go on that line?

  • this is a spur a 27 miles long no mbta train do not go on here

  • no MBTA runs at Worcster at its farthest West

  • crap isnt a bad word

  • i get yelled at in school for saying crap. its not a bad word, maybe impolite at times but not a 'sinful' word..nice vid

  • dude dont worry about saying crap its not that bad a word. saying F*** or something then maby but crap is ok :P nice video btw.

  • Don't worry about it. There are much worse things you could say than crap. I mean I say the word crap all the time.

  • Look buster! That was Cory's opinion. Not your opinion!

  • haha, lol, chill out man. I know its a lot for Mass Central. You gotta lighten up. What I don't get ho is why they sometimes have two engines for like a two car train?

  • Lights shutted down earlier!?

That is risk to drivers, because if last freight or passenger car is still blocking the road!

  • i dont see really anything bad about that its not like anybodys gonna go across.

  • Saying "Crap" Ain't As Bad As That Crossing Not Working

  • lol why are people rating yur comment as poor?

  • Love the Geeps! CP still has a few but they keep them in thier yards:( I saw one last summer with 40 cars. It was running by itself! Nice video Cory!

  • I mean wirefire2

  • do u want me to make a vid 4 u? i got a new train set! it is ho scail!!!!

  • Sure!

  • ok,that would be kinda wierd if u were talking to me!

  • Very strange, the lights went out wile the train was still passing!

  • i live in wisconsin and yestrday i got a shot of the amtrak but... it would not let me put it on you tube. there was 2 engins like u have and a empier bilder it was my first time that i saw a enpier!

  • when was the longest train you have got there?

  • Not Long ago, It Was Around SEP, And It Was 22 Cars At one Time.

  • WireFire2. Stop Offending Cory!

  • wow i love that horn! I wish CSX had a couple of GP9's that would be so cool!

nice job Cory, how many trains a day do you get?

  • rIVER RUN GRADE CROSSINGS ARE COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • and who says that you, wirefire2, needs to be a jerk about it? don't listen to him cory, good video, keep 'em coming.

  • Well, This is a Spur line, And usually gets one or Two cars at most! So today was a Good day for this Line. Thank you for your comment! :)

  • Ah, that explains it. A main line goes by my house (or it will very soon) and we a TON of cars that go by (sometimes 100+).

  • Do Wigwags.

  • We don't have any wig wag signals in Massachusetts any more. The last one was on the old Edaville Rail Road in Carver and they took it out when they shorten the line.

  • i have trains in my back yard and they come by every few days in norwood mass i think they are csx trains not sure

  • "Crap ain't Bad"

  • THE MADNESS HAS GOT TO STOP!!!

  • Because I work for the RR. BTW, I apologized to the kid for my insensitive comments. He's has some mental challenges and he's only 15.

  • By the kid, do you mean me?

  • Actully, These signals Replaced 2 Crossbucks, Great Guess though!

  • Phew. At least there's no getting rid of Griswolds or Wig Wags at this crossing.

  • Wow! Then why are u watching trains on youtube? Great video Cory!

  • r u talking to me!!!!!!????!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!

  • Sorry trainz675 I was talking to worefire2 but put my comment in the wrong place. Sorry!

  • ok!

  • That sounded like an K3LA

  • I sead "Crap", i don't like to swear.

  • Oh ok. Yea you said that. Nice video by the way. Not too often you can catch a malfunction.

  • This video is from 2000, So these signals are now 7 years old. And this is in Hardwick, Massachusetts. Thank you. :)

  • Another good explanation. I checked the FRA's site and the dates didn't seem to match up.

  • should of' had gates!

  • Yeah, If it did have gates, the gates would have gone up while the train was still crossing! furryfurball1221. thank you for that Awsome thought!

  • That's not a big deal. As long as the train occupies the crossings before the gates go up. But some people are dumb and would hit the train simply because the gates were not down or the lights flashing...

  • Well, I wouldn't go as far as calling this a malfunction. The lights did provide 20 seconds of warning before the train crossed the grade. It looks like the track circuit for the crossing just needs to be slightly extended so the lights remain illuminated until the train has clear the crossing entirely.

  • Whooooooo, listen to that K5LA!! :o)

  • What does this mean??

  • That is spam. Ignore it. It just gets annoying

  • actully, no, the railroad employees watched this video and they Replaced the Relays. How ever, this crossing still does malfunction like video 2.

  • Yes you are are all right, The reason i freaked out was because if there was a family watching this video with pure minded kids that don't know any swears and heard the bad use of my words, i wouldnt want to be the one to set a bad example. Also,if a parent wanted to keep there child's mind free of bad words and a kid watched a harmless train video and herd a very bad word then that kid would be corrupt for life! Thats my point of view.

  • Sorry i yelled, please forgive me?
