own 3 12v max tools but am sadly forced to give it up even though it is absolutely amazing because they don't have any tools in the lineup. 4 types of drills a light, and the inspection cam and a thermometer. I'm going to the 20v lineup but I'm pretty upset about it, the 12v max dewalt stuff keeps up with everyone at work using Bosch, Makita, and Milwaukee 18v tools. And as stated, it's much more comfortable for an average sized man, and about 1/4 of the weight.
@daxlarsen2121 I agree with comfort. I tried every 12v battery-in-the-handle there is and they seem like they were designed for people with very large hands. Almost got the bosch but ended up with dewalt. The grip is better than any I every felt for the last 20 years. Thankfully all I use is in 12v are drills/impacts screwdriver and flashlight. A larger line would be nice tho for those who need other tools. That 3/8" drive impact looks sweet for automotive, I may have to have one.
Yeah light Leds are cool(but more power needs), but milwaukee have smaller battery 1,5Ah, Dewalt have only 1,3Ah;) and more powerful torque;) And Milwaukee show up 2 years ago, than mean Dewalt is still in back in news...
I use Dewalt 12v set at work and Milwaukee 12v (C12PD and C12ID )at home.Milwaukee is better made, battery last 40% longer ,even with 1.5A battery.
