  • werksdesign, what u were in was a fairly ahh, 'optioned up' family car! Also came out with a 140 hp six and auto if your wallet wasn't as fat as the car. Saying that you can buy a few big block 400hp+ family cars new today from chev (can in Aus anyway so guess you can in anywhere) and in forty years people will be going how did they get these through

  • this was are family car in the 60's. 389 3 dues 425 hp & hurst 4 speed. I can remember my dad racing at a stop lights and my mom cruzing at over 100 mph, of course no one had set belts.

  • I remember seeing this car in our Arlington Heights, IL neighborhood and I was fascinated by the frosted tail lights until I saw the lights on this model were behind the back grillwork. What a nifty car - and they came in lilac mist with black interiors - ultra cool!

  • my mom had a 64 gp. back in the early 70s back when people junked a car because it had 40-60k mi. on it a family friend saved it from the crusher.it ran and looked great. this was back when you can buy a car for a couple grand.new now you better have a strong heart before looking at the sticker price.
