I have a Gen 4 Glock 17. Over 4000 rounds through it no stoppages, a thousand of which are handloads with no issues. Also sort out your drills if you carry for defensive purposes, you need to be more deliberate and do things with a sense of urgency. I'm not saying go as fast as you can, but you don't need to baby a Glock.
ouch what brand or company of reloads did you purchase from ? should mix some of those reloads with a batch of good rounds to get good practice with jam scenarios but it seems like your getting alot of jam training as it is lol.

You can get an airsoft colt 1911 that requires the slide to be racked with after each shot to cock it. Kinda the same principle there. But it does teach the tap n rack drill nicely!
"Short Recoil" can be, too short. On Glocks, it's WAY too short.
Watch "Zach blows out a Glock 19". Note how much flame is coming out of the ejection port.
It's NOT, supposed to do that! The Fire is supposed to be OUT, before Breeching occurs.

Don't use reloads on glocks! Youtube search Glock Kaboom. I like my hand and will not shoot reloads in a glock
