Concerning other comments, I don't really see a problem with calling this yaoi, even if only as a warning. People with Yoite's gender 'condition' usually can be identified as male or female genetically, but due to any assortment of reasons, their physical appearance doesn't discern them one way or another, and babies can't explain whether they are male or female to aid those confused over their genital androgyny/malformations.

But I think Yoite identifies as male, or so it seems.

As to add to the comments,yes,it's not really yaoi for 2 reasons.

1.Yoite (Spoiler) is a hermaphrodite.

2.There's no sex in this. Yaoi = boy on boy hardcore banging party.
