Roundabouts are like an IQ test for drivers. Most people in florida assume the yield sign means stop and this leads to morons slowing down which makes it less effective than it is supposed to be. You are only supposed to stop if a car is there in the roundabout. If you are already in the roundabout signal when you are leaving. The key is don't be scared and don't stop merely yield - just like merging unto the interstate. Sadly most floridians fail both the interstate merge and the roundabout.
How hilarious that the supreme Americans must have little films made for them to understand roundabouts. Goodness, maybe in a few decades time you'll have 5 supermarkets making Internet grocery shopping home deliveries no matter where you live!
The difficulty for the driver entering the roundabout is that at a busy roundabout they will only be able to enter when a driver exits on the road they are entering on.
It makes it all a whole lot easier if the driver on the roundabout indicates what exit he/she is going to leave on.
Classic Americans, requiring a video to tell them how to use a roundabout!
Come to Britain we'll show you how it's done
