first time I played megaman was back in 1992 I think and I remember first boss I defeat was Dustman and then I had to figure it out all the way to the end... I don't remember right now but Ring man was always the last one.. he reminds me of quickman from MM2... Megaman is one of the best games ever.

people n general are nuts for not giving this game props. IMO its the best of the series!

1) It has the slide (from MM3) BUT u can jump out of it unlike MM5.

2) 1st to have the megabuster!

3) Megabust is best n this game bc right after you shoot it u can immediately charge again instead of having to shoot to charge again which is BS

4) There are 2 Wily castles!

5) IMO this has the best soundtrack of all. People need 2take off their MM2 beer goggles & see the awesomeness right in front of them!

For anyone saying this is Tool Assisted, I pity you. If you have actually seen a megaman game done with tools, you would know this isn't tool assisted. Boss fights in TAS runs are normally ALWAYS done with the megabuster, and also involve a lot of sliding closely behind the boss.

I got it now... Toad beats Flash because it's Watery. Flash beats Pharaoh (Pharaoh lives in Darkness). Pharaoh beats Ring (The PShot could be the planet?). Ring beats Dust (There is no Dust in Space. A dead body will not rot in space). Dust beats Skull (Rot away the Skull). Skull beats Dive (Only one I can't figure out). Dive beats Drill (Electrify the circuits). Drill beats Toad (Pierce through it).

Actually, I figured it out. Ring Man is based on planetary rings. Dust can't exist in space. Nor do bodies rot.

Well, all that I am just saying is that they may have been inspired by parts of this particular game (Mega Man 4/Rock Man 4) in which there are parts that can do almost the same thing, i.e., the Pharaoh Man stage, SandyStrawb.

Did you know that games in the MMX/RMX series, as in from the fourth game on, also had parts where you would meet an apparent dead end and then warp to another part of the level? Unlike this game, though, you do not collect a special item in order to move to that next part. See MMX4/RMX4 to know what I mean.
