  • why was i born in the wrong generation? sucks that i wasn't even a year old when this song was released.

  • yes!!! thank you finally with the full fade off at the end, i love the high pitched guitar ending, just adds to the greatness of this song

  • Inexcusable, but, I had this great song mixed-up with Duncan Sheik's "Barely Breathing" for about a week during the era when both songs were debuting. Both're sentimental favorites and recall a seemingly simpler time.

  • One of the most amazing songs. Sounds good, tells a story. Something that music today does not do

  • 90s music. REAL music. Tired of music about sex, drugs, alcohol. Idk how the music even gets recognized. The only thing that keeps that music alive is the beats that go with the song.

  • Thumbs up if your a 90's baby....and PROUD.

  • most of my life has been lived after the 90s but i prefer this music over any other. hands down. i was born in the wrong era...

  • The 90s were the last decent decade for music. Lady Gaga, or The Wallflowers? Counting Crows? Collective Soul? You know, actual rock? No contest.

  • i finally found this ndam song god it only took me 5 years dammit

  • ur bout dumber than fuk

  • i can soo seee why none of you get laid

  • Obama has raised Americas national debt from 8trillion to 16 trillion thats more than any 15 presidents combined,he has hobbled America finacially for100 years if not forever, zero on job creatio, unemployment is right where it was when he got in,Alqaeda is taking over iraq,he passed on all that oil from canada, which also would have created 100000 jobs and gas prices are up 83% since he got in.Get another dem or anyone else but save whats left and vote him out

  • Free speech people say what you want thats america look at al sharpton nuff said

  • Absolutely the best dobro (i think) solo at the end of the song notcie how the chords are kind of like hotel california wow this is a nice tune

  • .. wow my dad used to play this song when i was younger... and it seriously hasn't gotten old to me.

  • I love this song but for some reason it makes feel weird. Like nostalgic mixed with depressed ._.

  • It took forever for me to find this song! I only remembered the 'Cinderella' part and I want my dad and me to dance to it at my wedding. Then I finally heard it on the radio at work!

  • me and momma

  • Man i remember when these guys toured around 1997-98 and they put on a show near my neck of the woods and it was my first concert and I was 7 yrs old.

  • @TheMacetheace You lucky dog, you! What a fantastic introduction to live music! My first real concert was James Taylor back around '71 or '72. I was a "lucky dog" too! Long live the Music; and the Beautiful People who make it!

  • quote "I do not own anything" , yet you cover the video with ads !

  • This is amazing.

  • i tot this song were sang by bruce springsteen

  • It's funny that as time goes on, I start listening back, rather than forward, now im listening to songs from when I was born, and before that.

  • @liligman Wait'll you dig back into some of the REALLY good old stuff! One of my favorite songs was written 60 or 70 years before I was ever born! Check out "Big Bad Bill (is Sweet William now) from Ry Cooders' "Jazz" CD. The song was written late 1880s or 1890s. The CD came out around 1990, I think. Great stuff! I'm a musician/song-writer myself, so.....yeah. I DO have good taste! Took me weeks or months to learn how to play it, all on my own & by ear. But now no one can take it away from me.

  • This song was made 14 years ago. coming up on 15...what happened?

  • @FiyahLol bathsalt and meth

  • i used to think red hot chili peppers use to sing this song

  • @1821aftershock XD, Under the Bridge, well they sound similar...well not really... lol

  • theres got to be an opening, somewhere here in front of me, through this maze of ugliness and greed <3

  • Love this song

  • Music like this died long time ago...sigh.

  • @roamingsoul80 Nah, man you just don't know where to look. Plenty of this music this quality still being made!

  • @skipplet

gimme a hint will ya ;)

  • At least I was born in the explosion of music of the 1990's even if I wasn't a teen to appreciate it at the time...

  • It makes me depressed..

But a great song for the 90's it is.

  • I feel old..... .__.

  • What have I been missing.....

So much good music from the 90's.

  • i wish there was more music like this :]

  • nothing better than the 90's

  • 15 people don't have headlights.

  • good song!! 3 thumbs up!!

  • This song was being played while I was being born. Thirteen years of loving the Wallflowers.

  • this song is lawesome. its like being tickled while your surfing and at the same time trying to comb someones hair

  • Fuck man, 90's was fucking 20 years ago

  • i absolutley love this song ♥

  • what you need times machines.. listen to this!

  • I tried for days to find this song couldn't remember the name of it if I paid myself to. I love when music speaks to you

  • I really need to find my copy of this album. I feel old remembering listening to this song as a little kid and calling it "The Cinderella Song"

  • Kuanti ricordiiiiiiii con questa canzone

  • This song reminds of my dead dog. :'(

  • @TheRealEricLester LOL LOL Hilarious

  • @TheRealEricLester ...really wha happen, oh lemme guess...the car only had one headlight? lol

  • <3

  • muy pero muy buena canción... (Y)

  • padiddle!

  • @MJsPYT15 Damn straight!

  • I keep thinking the 90's was 10 years ago.

  • @ac120479 A lot of the music from the 90s is the reason music of today is the way it is.

Before Coldplay= The WallFlowers, Oasis, REM

Before Danity Kane= TLC, En Vogue

    Before Nicki Minaj= Missy Elliot

    Before GaGa= Bjork, Alanis Morisette

No one can say creativity is particular to a person. The 90s was about emotion and the videos showing that emotion hence it made sense. Today it's creativity first and then emotion, thus it's just vapid.

  • @shin0bi88 and before that there were the Beatles.

  • @jalks1 True they completely embodied a genre, a style, and thought.

  • @ac120479 time do fly a bit too fast sometimes..i thought of the same listening to this song.

  • @ac120479 Try 22 buddy.

  • @ac120479 Yeah, I had someone tell me that "Nirvana" was pretty good for "oldies" (can you believe that?

I was like, boy.. that wasn't more than 10 or so years ago... or 12, or 15... man I'm gettin old...

  • with the 14 dislikes, it's probably because they got hit with the car that had one headlight.

  • love it

  • wALLFLOWERS IS PRETTY NICE STUFF

  • Comment removed

  • i loverd this song.

  • [insert generic i miss the 90's comment here]

  • 80's and 90's big years and great songs

  • Am I the only one who's reminded of Leonard Cohen every time they hear this song?

  • Reminiscing about the 90's makes me feel so old. They were over a decade ago...A DECADE! THE FIRST DECADE OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM IS OVER!!!! I remember watching the ball drop to make it the new millennium, and that was over a decade ago. Depressing... quite depressing

  • @Swingking9 true words man. I miss those days, we had music from all types of genres that were classics. Today's music is hot one day, then you forget all about them the next day. In the 90's, we had music that still bring fond memories of the times we were young. This song always makes me think about my dad dropping be off at my mothers after their divorce. This song came on the radio and we would both sing along and I always considered this one our song.

  • @Swingking9 You aren't the only one. I have sharp memories of playing Fastball and the Wallflowers while driving to the beach. Then celebrating New Years Eve 2000. Now its a faceless decade where nobody knows what the hell is coming or going.

  • this song is awesome 14 people didnt saw the head light

  • man this takes me back to when i was 10, grandpa was still alive and we rocked out to the radio

  • good songs like this are a thing of the past, its just reality

  • @mjnbowlgod HEY YOU ARE 100% CORRECT

  • Geez, this song takes me way back to when i was just a kid. I'm so greatful my dad listened to rock instead of that shitty rap music.

  • 90s made me boner.

  • Takes me back to 1996-1997. Great times being 9-10 in Virginia Beach

  • 96-98 had awesome music... Can't say how much decent, un-fad music came out that year. Just great quality, great musical innovation. Like a mini-late 60s.

  • 96 that was a good year =)

  • @CharlieWaffles510 93 94 and 95 were fantastic as well.

  • Forget Like for this song there should be a Love button.

  • Music is good for the soul :)

  • beautiful song with lovely voice

  • oh my god everytime i see a music video for an older song the top comments always someone whining about the mainstream music i think people get it you can stop talking about it now

  • @wilmcmillan word. the 90's man...better days

  • buena rola

  • I agree, the 90's were the golden years of rock and all of its sub-genres. Today's music is such a shame that I would rather take a bullet to the head than to tune my radio into one of the so called new stations. :( life is sad these days, without good music....

  • Comment removed

  • @barzasc Well there bringing new shit in now... I like Dubstep, it's kinda amazing... But depends if you like Techno-ish songs... But this is an amazing song however

  • Wow, what a beutiful song, almost made me cry... Crisco.

  • i freaking miss the 90s.

  • @chadd990 you are a complete douche bag lol i am embarassed for you.

  • The 90s are over, get over it. Good music like this is still being made today. Shitty music thats being made today, was also made back in the 90s. Remember that song where that guy rapping about if shanekwa's there? hell no, she moved out last year. Yeah, that song was pretty fucking bad. The 90s isnt immune to shitty music, so stop pretending like they're the golden years.

  • @chadd990 let people remember the good without the bad man .... I'm an anarchist punk rock guy and I'm less pessimistic than you.... live and let live

  • @thoughtcorrosion

Well i'm a realist. Sorry for hurting your feelings.

  • maybe that one headlight could get me to where i want to be in life, job, woman, housing, everything..I DONT COUNT ON IT, BUT MAYBE THAT WILL BE MY FATE..WISH ME LUCK...THANX EVERYONE..pete from long island...

  • @rexrockandroll ..Godspeed brother!!!

  • this song reminds me of the town that i live in. good and bad memories at the same time to this tune.

  • This song reminds me of my cousin... He was 14 and he had a tumor the size of a golfball on his brain. He sang this song a year exactly before he died at a family reunion... God bless him...

  • Sometimes you just completely connect with a song.

  • @MJsPYT15 i would too....if i could only remember more of it

  • Muy buena.

  • good song !

  • @wilmcmillan how does this comment not have more thumbs up?

    it's just so true.

  • @wilmcmillan I hope the 90's repeat themselves again soon. I am sick of ghetto ass and titties songs. When hit singles had actual albums to listen to. When the albums were just as good as the singles themselves once you listened to them a few times. Man...the 90's what a decade

  • 90 WERE the shit! Went on a roadtrip to canada when I was young with ym mom and my cousins from france. We had to change radio station every 30 miles and what do you know. THis song played the WHOLE way from VA to Niagra falls. The good ol days :)

  • I can not get over how awesome the 90's were.

  • I had this in my head yesterday. Sorta a quirky reflection of state of mind, maybe. Then tonight, someone sang it karaoke (and decently, even) while it was out. So yeah. I just took it as a sign and gave in.

Funny thing is, when it came out, it didn't mean a lot (if anything) to me. Too young I guess.

  • They still rock my socks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nostalgia is what you're referring to. I get it too.

  • @jaguarandi2 same here...it's a good indescribable feeling

  • @jaguarandi2 Dude, that's exactly how I feel. I dunno, it just feels like... The past or something. It's super nostalgic.

  • i miss the 90's

  • LOLOLOLJUSTINBIEBERLOLOLOL

  • thanks good tune

  • This song can be powerful enough to bring tears to one's eyes. This is a very subtle and beautiful song. It is perfect, telling a story about the loss of a loved one. A very, very lovely song indeed.

  • ...people can say it all they want about how 90s music like this sounds " oh so bland," but the thing about this era for me what that it was all about the lyrics. The lyrics of this song are meaningful to me - unlike the shit that Lady Gaga sings about...=/

  • ben loten is no more
