I'm Catholic, and of course you can play video games. It only becomes a concern if you almost lust for computers and become very addicted, which stops you from being as best Christian you can be. Not attending the Mass because of your addiction, for example.

people here are a bunch of noobs. of coarse the bible does not say "though shall not game." but there a references that can point to gaming. the bible frowns against addictions, and ANYTHING that can taint the soul, meaning M rated games, or games that have killing or other sinful activities in them. playing killing games is the same as watching porn. now i do not think i am going to hell for gaming because i know right from wrong, i attend church, i am not addicted etc. do some research!

Religions are ways of controlling the mind into thinking a certain way. A free mind doesn't need religion or even marriage or any system like that. It hinders the natural psychological thinking of the human mind. It's a way to control people as it limits the ways in which you would normally think about. A (CREATURE) type god does not exist, neither does hell, heaven or Jesus Christ or any other deities in other religions like that. The true god is much, much bigger than this stuff.
