It really seems like this video will allways remain my favourite of all time. Christianity numbs the severity of the pain by denying what is truly desired. Stuff like not wanting money, friends, power etc. We don't do anything to work for them and never know true happiness or create true beauty.

I think it has to do more with changing the "direction" of Western culture and creating a society with values that are more life affirming. It is necessarily ambiguous. But, maybe Nietzsche wasn't as much of a visionary as we think. I mean possibly we should think in very different terms after the century of physics and during this century of biology.
