Fermenting Beer

It's called "krausen" and it's supposed to be there...it's a product of the fermentation process.

As for infection...if you can't tell for sure, then you are probably fine.

what is that layer of greenish brown stuff that is on the top of your beer? cause' mine has that too and im afraid that it might be an infection.
