just two years ago i almost commited suicide. i had my shotgun in my hands and was just about to pull the trigger when one of my true friends walked into my room and saw me and he ran over and grabed the shotgun and unloaded it instantly and i had to deal with people in school asking why i was going to to it and i had to deal with everyone ridiculing me about it and just making fun of me some more, and i wonder what would have happened if i pulled the trigger if the school would be better or not

I don't think you have already read the bible. Because if you do, you will not worry much.Try to read the bible everyday and I believe that as you go along you will feel lightness in your heart. You will have the wisdom to manage your problems, see the bright side of life and understand that problems are just tests. That they are not here to weaken us but to strengthen us. I have lost a brother to suicide & I can tell you from experience, people think suicide is the easy way out but it leaves so much more than pain behind. It leaves anger, confusion and so so many what if's. Parents talk to your teens and if they wont talk then make them. I pray no one ever feels this pain. I pray no one ever has to question "what could I have done?" Dont think your teen is just going thru a stage cause its a matter of life or death!!

I just found this video, my sister is Chantae Faulk she shot herself July 30, 2008 ! I never knew she was hurting but I know depression runs in our family cuz I was 16 when I swallowed my whole month worth of antidepessants! being her sister i wish i could hve helped her more , today would have been her 22nd birthday ! My friend whos like a bro 2 me killed himself over love :'(...His mom died a month ago because of a car accident. His aunt and uncle and they're unborn child was killed in a car accident because some stupid bastard drive DUI and killed the family... And then my friend killed himself because he said everyone left the world when they dont want to but they left him on this earth by himself with drama and he cant handle it. So on 2/27/11 he ran away from home 2/28/11 he was found dead :'( R.I.P!

I'm willing to bet if they would have just held on one day at a time they would be glad they did. Pain does go away, and every life deserves to be lived. I am suicidal, have been for years. I'm kind of scared to hang myself because I know if the rope breaks or someone rescues me, I'll be mentally disabled for the rest of my life, so if I ever get a hold of a handgun, I'll use that method because my death will be certain and painless.

as friends, we are all responsible for letting all our friends know they are important to us, and tell them in private, or in a non-drugged or alcohol fuelled environment within a group. Mental illness is just a sickness like any other. Thankfully we have evolved in our attitudes to mental illness, but we still have a long way to go. On the other hand, we also put people in boxes, and if we don't fit someone in our box, we isolate them. People are but flesh and blood, look after your friends.

This vid is definately sobering. Life was never meant to be easy. Those who experience the hardest times in life will generally become the greatest of all citizens in the end. You can tell a teenager life gets better a million times, but you can't buy experience, and when you are at the bottom of the trough its pretty hard to see too much light. But there is another aspect to this. You know yourself better than anyone on earth, and if you can't figure out how to get yourself out of the trough...

I have lost a brother to suicide & I can tell you from experience, people think suicide is the easy way out but it leaves so much more than pain behind. It leaves anger, confusion and so so many what if's. Parents talk to your teens and if they wont talk then make them. I pray no one ever feels this pain. I pray no one ever has to question "what could I have done?" Dont think your teen is just going thru a stage cause its a matter of life or death!!
