That's what happens when one drives drunk duh! It's a good thing she lost her leg. Now she can feel the pain of all the people who have lost their legs as a resuly of dumdasses like her! i am one an amputee as a result of some dumdass like her running into me and crushing my leg beyond repair. i do not have money to get a prosthetic so all i have are my crutches. thanks alot all u dumb drunk drivers!

Sorry you got screwed wally. Yep, in this country there STILL is no severe consequences for the damage drunk drivers do to INNOCENT people.

Almost every other day I hear of some drunk fuck killing or maiming some innocent person. Most of the time the drunk is the one who walks away undamaged.

When you perform actions that could cause others to lose their lives or lose limbs, that person has no reason to bitch when it happens to you. She got off light. It could've been much worse. Now when she thinks about getting in a car when she's had too much, she'll have an extra reminder why it's a bad idea.

So if your family was wiped out in a car crash due to some drunk driver....AND THEN you found out it was his 5th drunk driving and had killed a person before....you can't judge this person to be a piece of human trash?

to be honest its her own fault i do feel sorry for her but at the same time it serves her right. one of my friends was killed when hit by a drunk driver, surley it is better a drunkard gets hurt than an innocent civillian. i hope she can never drive again. but i admire her courage to come forth and admit how the injury happened because maybe it will persuade others not to drink and drive.

She's lucky all she lost was a leg, at least she can walk again. I was in a hit and run motorcycle accident 5 yrs and left a paraplegic. I will never walk again, at least she can. sigh..we never knew who hit us. Either a drunk, illegal,no insurance or all the above. People who drink and drive are morons!

I'm glad she lost her own leg and didn't cause a crippling injury or death to some innocent person. I have NO pity for her or any drunk driver! She got what she deserved!

My wife is an amputee as a result of being hit by a drunk driver, no fault of her own. Now she faces a lifetime of tremendous difficulty and expenses as a result of someone else's complete lack of judgment and sheer stupidity.

i also spend a yr in a wheelchair when i lost my leg in a car crash as i was to scared to walk and have no idea why.And i didnt drink and drive,a tree fell on the car and crushed my right leg.i woke up later to find i was a amputee.I have just started to learn how to walk on a prosthetic leg and its not as easy as it looks.
