I want to express my deep admiration to all the men and women who protest in iran, despite the massive opression from the government! How brave you are!

It's beautiful how people can form a fearless group against a horrific regime and can be united, their goal transcends religion, it's freedom.. It's also sad how those in power don't want to even have a reform, but want absolute power no matter what and how far they want to go for such a brief and empty as power.

All this reminds me to some sentences, i've read long time ago. (think it was some kind of buddhist context):

they were something like this:

"There are only two kind of people in this world who have real power:

There are those who have no fear to kill. This gives them great power as most of us have a natural fear and disgust to kill.

And there are those who have no fear to die. These are the only ones who can really oppose the others."

Yes, but those who have no fear to die are in my opinion more powerful than those who have no fear of killing. Every one of us can kill, but most of us disgust it (they don't want to, this doesn't equal fear). Killing takes a brief moment of crossing a line and it expresses fear of the one you kill, while having no fear to die takes a lot more courage and you have to keep this courage all your life...
