these two eps played on my subconcious so much that I had a nightmare on Monday, in which I was a time lord, but i didn't know it, and my parents died and all my freinds found out I wasn't human, and I can't quite remember how it ended! Fantastic vid!

I loved the little John/Joan thing, it was so fleeting and cute...like the Doctor and Reintte...it was sooo sad though, but I still think she was a bit creul when she outright refused the Doctor when he was trying to help her with her grief for John, saying that basically they were the same person...and she was just so outright heartless. *sigh*
But I must admit that I disagree with you about Joan being heartless - if someone was heartless it would be the Doctor ... she's completely heartbroken and he just stands there and suggests that they could start all over again like nothing really happened. Oi - MEN!! Doesn't matter whether they're from Earth or Gallifrey obviously *gg*. Anyway I guess, I would have reacted in the same way Joan reacted. But you're absolutely right about this: what's done is done ;-).
Hehe, well, trust me, it was quite a shock when I found out that I thought that the Doctor was wrong and Joan was right according to my opinion, because I'm totally in love with David, too *gg*

Yeah, I suppose you do have a point...
I think my personal prejudice of being totally in love with David would play a large part in the majority of my Doctor Who related opinions.
