  • I have tried playing your video from different browsers (other videos play fine) but this one is just white noise. Notify youtube to fix it, was interested in hearing your reply.

  • (The last message was for MottullMaelstrom)

  • Ayn Rand (real name Alyssa Rosenbaum) advocated reason and yet she was a smoker. She also had an extra-marital affair with a man (also married) who was 18 years her junior for 25 years.

  • Real name? So people don't have the right to change or choose their own name?

She quit smoking when her doctor told her it was bad for her, and the affair was known to all parties and sanctioned by everyone.

In other words, you're an ad hominem fallacy fucknut.

  • Nah!

I just like to mess around with people. I even got one person angry at me due to my channel's background and quotes list.

But I'm still right: "People are suckers." Most of them at least.

  • Wish I saw this earlier, lol. Good video.

  • I agree with what you're complaining about, but it's just what people do in political situations like this. Someone decides they're liberal or conservative, for instance, and then (usually) come to the conclusion that anything they believe is "true" liberalism or conservatism. It's better not to have an ism to begin with, but most people don't understand that.

  • Please please please, put a new battery in your fire alarm. Give me your address and I will send you one.

  • Woohoo! Unsolicited plug! =D

  • Wow, a second-generation objectivist?

Anyway, you're very right near the end, with some people being more concerned with their ideas "being objectivist" rather than being true.

I look at it this way: I often check my logic against other people's logic, but I never check my answers against other people's answers.

  • Great, XO! By the way, to anyone who has followed that link to Bored Zhwazi's Gain and Loss series: make sure to check out the rest of the series. It has 5 parts, and I highly recommend it! Just look in the "Previous Posts" section of his blog.

  • I discovered that yesterday (through XO's link), and it is incredibly brilliant. Maybe I should peruse Blogspot more often....

  • See, with the physical sciences and social science, I agree with you 100 percent. The peculiar thing about philosophy is that, unlike other fields, it's highly delimited in scope and content. There is content to philosophy but it's stripped down to the core.

  • i like boobies

  • Is the heat melting your webcam, man? Maybe it's just me, but this thing looks like it was broadcast from Mars. Still, it's the audio that really counts. Rand was brilliant but, alas, fallible.

  • I used that in-browser recording feature and my ISP has been hiccuping a lot lately.

  • Haha, the red-orange hue in the video, not to mention XOmniverse's red hair, does it make look a bit like Mars.

  • Thanks for the support. Neat video, mostly just because I agree.

  • Rand most certainly should not be regaurded as having a monopoly on truth.
