Libertys get no spect sure xj is little nicer with solid front axle and I do love 4.0 but they get it done. Diesel option takes it to new level like Mercedes g500 without 100k price tag
You seem to know alot about this vehicle and I am asking for your help if you don't mind. I have a 03 liberty limited 4x4 with 80,000 miles with Select Trac...problem: when I put it in full time 4 whel I hear a "humming" type of noise and it sounds like coming from tranny...also yesterday when I slowed down to park it while still in full time 4 wheel mode I also heard a "tick, tick, tick" noise. Any ideas at all? I am really puzzled as I keep very very good maintenance on my Liberty-I love it!
Very nice, Got to love the Liberty!! Mine's an '03 Sport, all stock. I've done some crazy things that I've seen alot of other "suped up" trucks have trouble with!!! keep them going
Thats what I'm talkin about man...of course mines now on jackstands with the engine removed cause I cracked a piston...oops!!! LOL...if you're ever over Seattle way..or Kitsap County hit me up and we'll hit the trails!
Very nice, I might hit you up on that offer, Im only 5 hours away, and my girlfriend and I might have to make a few trips over there this summer. Sending a friends request your way. Keep in touch and keep sending vids....
LOL...summer will be a good time... take a look at the pics in my Jeep Repair album on my facebook and you'll see why...thanks to work and other stuff I dont get to work on the ol jeep very often and right now I'm in the process of making some eye bolts to hoist the engine out...so hopefully by summer I'll be ready to go...I also have an 86 toyota 4x4 pickup to go wheelin in as well...My girlfriends sons live out in spokane as is my second job...nate rose brooks is my facebook name hit me up!
Alright, think I found you on facebook, sent a request! Get that Liberty runnin! Got some mountains to climb this summer with a fellow liberty driver :P Take care dude!!
Mine is a 2003 sport and right now retail they are roughly 13000... I've had mine for about 2.5 years now and its still running great after 59000 miles added and many trail miles, plus I'm shitty with preventative maintenance. LOL... hit those trails man!
I take it you own a bronco...LOL...and yes I've already been corrected on the Blazer/ jimmy not a bronco issue...the main point here is that my little stock p.o.s liberty swamped through this puddle past the truck which towered over me and then towed his ass 10 miles home...LOL...boy was he embarrassed.
ive got a 04 liberty with a 3 inch lift and big bogging tires on it with lockers and winch all done up and i go places wranglers cant so i love my liberty plus ive rescued craps vehicles all the time
I'd really love to have an old willy, but my 2003 so far has kicked ass completely stock although I have a $8,500 wish list. Thanks for watching, and good luck becoming an officer...I'm prior Navy Nuke Enlisted

yeah my boy had a liberty we beat the fucking shit out of it, check my chanel for a brakestand we did, 06 lowered it was a good ride whipped most other cars on the road hahaha, plus we cud get her sideways
Smokin that Jeep man...I take it you have a manual tranny, cause I sure as hell can't do that in mine...believe me I've tried:) Do you have any vids of you tearing the jeep up...I'd like to see the stuff you've done with yours...obviously I take mine off roading...you should see the sides and undercarriage now, dented like crazy...but It still runs like a champ.
yeah theres one video of us doing a breakstand on my chan, also its auto hahaha we just figured out how to bypass certain annoying electronic features =P
The Liberty is the more reliable problem free vehicle I ever had. Serviced regularly, since '03 not one problem except for a rusty muffler replaced for $110 at Midas. Fact over Fiction.
I applaud you for stating the facts. Liberty Owners Unite!!!Thanks for watching, I just wish I could say I wasn't having any problems, but all of this 4X4'n is taking a toll on the frame...not too mention I am in perma 4 wheel drive now. HA!!!
Nice job! Liberties RULE! They play as hard as any other Jeep, and have sophistication doing it. All the roading capability of a Jeep, and the comfort of a full bodies SUV. Win-win.
hey naitrose, i love my libby. shes the shit, and keep up that word of not letting anyone else tell you otherwise. jeeps have been driving on more trails than any other suv in history, its where trail riding originated, chevy didnt start that. lets all keep it that way.
Amen to that! I just wish I had a different Jeep to go 4X4'n in or at least a second one so that I wouldn't be denting the exterior of my daily driver. It drives the wife mad that I have no fenders on the jeep and a lot of the left side is dented, HA!
i dont blame u man, blazers and broncos are cousins. I drive a '95 bronco. Just want to say that you have a nice lookin liberty and it was very cool of you to pull him out. i guess the other guy doesnt understand that you couldve just left that other blazer out there. anywho nice job and nice vehicle!
Right On! Thanks for the comment...yeah I figured every good turn deserves another..so Hopefully one day He'll pull me out. Oh and the liberty is covered in Dents now..HA!
First of all That is a blazer not a Bronco. Second you Liberty is just as much of a POS.
"Jeep has issued a massive recall to all owners of a the Jeep Liberty, fearing that the vehicles could have catastrophic steering failure, resulting in their small SUV flipping off the road and exploding in a ball of fire The problem resides in the front ball joint, which is a part of the suspension that keeps control to the front wheels at all times."
Yes thanks you are right it was a blazer...only a mistake a liberty owner would make...and if that recall is true...thanks for being an ass and informing me in a rude way...Ny jeep has out performed many other's on these trails...what are you driving? Please enlighten me on God Like vehicle you have!
Hey thanks for the tip...is that what that little piece of white paper that says, "Go to your local dealer to take care of this recall" means!!! Thanks I felt like an idiot for not understanding that!!!By the way I was being sarcastic to bearfoot25. I was glad that he informed me, he just didn't need to be an ass about it, and neither do you. I just got the recall in the mail.

That is not a BRONCO, that is a GMC Jimmy. No Bronco would have gotten stuck in a little puddle like that.
