Nearly half of the American People would never vote for him; because, either they never heard of him, or many of his goals seem radical and more ideological than practical. His supporters are mostly in the 30-49 age group, but only the well-informed minority of them. What about the 18-29 age group; and, the 50-90 age group?

According to a recent poll in New Hampshire, Ron Paul is the LEAST liked of the candidates running. 61% polled say they would NEVER EVEN CONSIDER voting for Ron Paul. This guy's going to tank. I'd put his absolute ceiling of support at about 10%.

His supporters are mostly in the 30-49 age group, but only the well-informed minority of them. What about the 18-29 age group; and, the 50-90 age group?

What about American energy independence, protection of natural environments, affordable college education , worker competitiveness, affordable medical care, fool-proof social security, compelling alternatives for mothers to stop killing their children, tax incentives for raising children, pervasive dangerous addictive drugs, defense against growing Chinese military power?

OK.. those are respectable concerns but consider this: Ron Paul refers to himself as a 'Constitutionalist'. as such he is interested in protecting civil liberties such as the right to abortion and the right to decide what is good or bad for your own health. he also believes in making the dollar sound which would in turn boost the economy making colleges and health care more affordable. what he is doing is restoring the power to the people.

According to the latest Rasmussen daily tracking poll (10/29/2007), Mike Huckabee is tied with McCain nationally at 13%. Romney is 4th at 12% and none of the other candidates attracts more than 3%. Mike Huckabee is officially a top tier candidate. And the amount of money he's raising right now reflects that (more in just the month of October than the rest of the year).

User "peacefullfuture" is confused. Ron Paul doesn't want to "block" anything, unless it is illegal. And the vast majority of Federal cruft is just that. Yes, Dr. Paul is personally pro-life, because that's his personal belief having delivered 4,000 babies. But as President he will leave the issue up to patients/doctors/states, where it belongs. The Fed has no business weighing in on the issue, whether it be to "block" it *or* "endorse" it. So many people misunderstand this.

Those polls are engineered to get the results they have projected. Daytime calls to land-line phones. The straw polls are more accurate and show surprising support for Ron Paul. Dick Morris says the election process is unfair, doesn't trust electronic voting etc.

We've got to give money to his campaign. Donations are starting to lag and that will be the end of him. A lot of people are making $25.00 donations every Friday. That's a $100 a month. Taxes are fine when used for the people. Taxes to enrich bankers are just tyranny, no different than when serfs had to work for free for their lords and masters. The only time I accept restrictions on my freedom is when my actions would harm another. Anything else is also tyranny.

His message and integrity are powerful and speak to all Americans. If he has the money, I believe he can win. The mainstream machine is very afraid of him because the message is so strong and we ready for it as poll numbers suggest. Their fear and attempts to marginalize is in direct proportion to the threat they see. This is evidence that we can win.
Give up pocket change and the return on that investment could be huge. I felt obligated by my convictions and now feel so much better.

Paul is a smart and sensible man. He is no radical nut. He understands the complexities, and the need for reasonable "federal controls" and transition. See his videos. The same and more will only choke us financially and destroy vital freedoms and what little is left of which made America strong. We are headed toward WWIII and possible depression. Study the issues.
