THAT...was awesome! I think I like that better than Volodos' version. I think the pedal blurs it a little too much for me but here, it is very clear and crisp and beautiful.

Volodos is playing his own arrangement/transcription of Polka. Piano Synergy Duo performs original Rachmaninov's piece. Though Volodos's version is thrilling technically - in my opinion, it is the only purpose of his - and it serves itself greatly. This version here is truly inspirational musically. You may not agree, but that is what I think.

This Rachmaninov's piece is a little marvel. PIANO SYNERGY DUO is playing with elegance and yet with fire. Such a wonderful ensemble those two have. Thank you for posting. P. S.: Audience's noises are quite disturbing, though it was taped live from a concert.

The whispering was very distracting. Why do people talk and whisper at these things? Don't they realize how hard it is for some of us to tune them out? Or do they just not care? When a finger to the lips or a glare doesn't silence them, how do you get them to be quiet without creating a disturbance yourself?
