  • Wow I'm lucky if I get SB to come up to me for 5 seconds! Adorable video SB is sweetie! :)

  • omg they're so sweet and lovable, i wish i could meet one of them someday

  • Such wonderful video of a magical encounter.

Five stars are all too few for this.

  • you are lucky

    i love dolphins :)

  • Looks like she loves you too :) Dolphins are so sweet

  • That is one sweet video. It looks like you were making a great connection with that dolphin that day.

  • Wow what a truely incredible video and what an amazing friendship! It is always so amazing getting to interact with dolphins and to get such a special friendship on video is just fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing, this has to be one of me all-time fav dolphin videos

  • thank you onfire4him for you very nice comment. I would love one day to meet a wild dolphin, and Moko sounds incredibly special. It was such a privilege to befriend some of the dolphins at SeaWorld - a rare gift that i will treasure in my heart forever. I can only image what it would be like to befriend a dolphin- without the world of walls- now that would be one amazing unforgettable life experience.

  • omg thats so sweet!

  • Respiratory diseases were also reported in nearly a fifth

of marine mammal workers, including diseases such as

TB. Exposure to marine mammals can

involve a health risk to people working with the animals,

but it can also threaten the health of the public. In an internationally distributed survey of people who

come into contact with marine mammals (primarily

those who work with these animals), 23 % of

respondents reported contracting a skin rash or similar

ailment. Naomi A. Rose PhD -2009

  • i got to swim with dolphins and pet shamu in sea world :D

  • aww, cute o.O and all this was free? wasn't in tjis time in san diego a petting pool with killer whales? I thought I read something like this... you are so in luck o.O love this video <3

  • yes, way back in the day .... this was the SeaWorld whale and dolphin petting pool. guest were able to actually really get to know the dolphins. the trainers were rarely around- just the narrator. if you had a 12 month pass you could enter that park and literally make friends with the dolphins- you remember them and they remembered you. I will treasure that rare opportunity i had when i was a young teen forever. I often wish i could go back in time a relive some of those days.

  • I don't think she was doing that, i think she was just wanting to be next to me...maybe she liked the sound of my voice... there was nothing perverted about it... and yes, this experience was fun.

  • i got a kiss by SB

  • Oh my gosh! You had the best experience ever!

I went to the dolphin petting pool once (in Orlando) and none would come to me, they were being fed at the time. T-T

  • thank you so much for your nice comment. Yes, those days were the best... SeaWorld does not let guest interact with the dolphins anymore...unless the trainer is there and you have fish. The days of actually making friends with these amazing animals at SeaWorld are long gone.

  • You're very welcome. I never knew that! Why did they change that??

  • Adorable dolphin!

  • Nice video. Hope you will experience the dolphins in free one time. they should not be keep captures in my opinion

  • that is my dream, to have an experience with free & wild dolphins. I prefer to see dolphins in their natural ocean environment- rather then a world of walls. With that being said, parks like SeaWorld do bring regular folks interest to these amazing marine animals, thus- hopefully a greater respect for the ocean & it's inhabitants... Unfortunately, most people in the world today only respect things that they "know & like"...and a picture in a book is not enough for them.

  • Yes I agree. Same with zoo´s. Very good educational purpose!! Thnx for answering back!

  • If you ever get a chance you should come to NZ and meet Moko. He is a completely wild friendly dolphin. I have been privileged enough to spend many a hour playing and swimming with him. It is a truely unreal experience. Much like your amazing friend there.

  • This is just so cool. You had an awesome experience. I've had few but nothing will compare to this!!!! Instant fav.

  • If I was your parent I would tell you get the fuck back from that thing! xD This is so cute, you are so lucky, the dolphins at SW today are kind of agressive which is what I meant in the first sentence. xD You are very lucky and thanks for sharing this cute video. ^^

  • WOW!!

    Thats so cool!!

    I wanna do that too!!!

I love this video and the dolpin is very cute!!!<3

  • That´s the cutest dolphin video I had ever seen. O.O <3

It´s so cute how she ever come sto you and give you a hug. ^^

  • That is beautiful, it's amazing how she came right up to you!

  • That's awesome! Very cute =]

SB is such a pretty girl.

  • Thank you peepchick for your nice comment.

SB is a very sweet old girl... she was taken/ captured way back in 1975. Sea World named her Scarback... I could never call something so beautiful- Scarback...so most people that love her...call her SB. She is one of the few dolphins that I knew way back when I was a kid...that is still alive today.

  • Oh, I get what you mean. Yeah, I am not sure why they would call her Scarback either. Perhaps she was bit older when they got her? Who knows.

Yes, SB is a nicer name =]

  • SB was a bit of an older dolphin when Sea World took her from the ocean. SB has a big, deep scar on her back- According to SW, she got from a possible boating accident during her time in the wild... while others say, she got the scar during her capture...as she struggled... Those are the "stories" I heard (2 very different stories, both from pretty reliable sources). It is because of the scar on her back... as to why SW named her "Scarback" ... I think SB sounds much kinder of a name.

  • a few times me and SB would splash each other

  • You sent me this video through e-mail a few years ago. I still think it is the most awesome thing I have ever seen. SB being such a sweetheart.

  • Thank you so much for sharing!!

  • that is so cool.
