This isn't much of a glitch at the end, if you dont do a floor it won't count it as progress, so if you skipped floor one and then did 2-37 it would only show you having a progress of 37 when your on floor 38

i still got 2 progess from doing 1 floor and the xp for 2 (or 1.4) floors when only doing 1 floor. It jumped from 37 progress to 39 by doing 1 floor. And i didnt skip any floors or so.

So this was actually a big glitch, with a 5:5 team large on a high floor the extra xp for doing 1 floor in 30 second would have been very high, even though the xp was reduced it would have been very much xp.

The real bug abusers got away, but at least all the innocent players were being compensated and got rid of the black mark on their accounts, and people will no longer believe that they are all cheaters. :)

lol, top xp gainers will still get the same amount of xp if they want to, 100+ dungers (including me) can team up easily with other pros, raiding the dungeon within 30 mins, providing that I am the keyer and others ain't too bad. For a real pro team, I can manage to key within 25 mins, which is double xp rate as of world 117 teams (although i sometimes go w117, key and flame them for fun and still end the dungeon within 45 mins, ppl usually end a dungeon in an hour in w117).

It will be fun to see on runetracker how those who were banned still have about same xp/day, even now when the gitch is patched. That would prove that they could get that much xp without any glitch, at least not by using this one for sure. :p

It's funny how those who have no idea (and with their shortest map time being 1 hour) come and make sure to tell us that we deserved a permanent ban. If it's true that abused this bug I WOULD be perm banned. Any exp abusing bug results in a permenant ban, especially one that gives double exp. But the problem here is that Jagex wasn't sure who did it and for how long - Thus, they decided to mass ban anyone with high exp rates.

@ChampDJ It would be easy for jublix to see the xp gains in Dungeoneering. Noone would be able to gain 10k Dungeoneering xp and then another 5k in less than 2 minutes. This is clearly indicative of bug abuse if done more than once.

@paganish78 Do you not read? The point is that Jagex mistakenly banned many high level accounts, mine included. I never got double exp, and I never even attempted the glitch.... Seems spam clicking the map was enough to get banned, which I did a lot to keep the map updated...

if you spamclicked map at a certain time at the end of the "winterface" everyone in the team got stuck on last floor. Jagex probably just made a big mistake as usual and banned alot of innocents instead of only those who were actually abusing the glitch.

Jagex banned alot of innocent players from this glitch. I was banned and never knew anything about this glitch. jagex is full of lies saying that everyone who is banned knew what they were doing. How can we know what we were doing when we didn't know such a bug existed in the first place? I can bet more then 90% of the people banned are ones that are innocent. I would never do anything to cheat a system on this game as i am strongly against that and yet i am banned for something i didn't do.

A J mod confirmed that we were been banned for abusing an exploit that gives double dungeoneering exp, so this is probably what they think we did.

No one on my team abused this glitch.. I would've known if we stayed in the same floor more than once, especially if it was all bugged up. Take a look at Runetracker - Everyone who used to be top daily exp gains has now been banned. My team's average floor time is anywhere from 20-25 minutes, it's not surprising that Jagex would think we are abusing a bug, but at least look into it for real and show some supporting evidence that we really did it. I had no idea about a glitch like this till now.

This glitch only requires 2 players abusing it, so in a 5man team 3 players could be innocent and not even notice they get more xp if they are not looking or not having xp counter on. That is probabvly the reason to why it was only 3days ban for everyone becasue jagex knew that some were probably innocent and didnt do aything wrong. Just a theory.

I think that in many or even most cases, jagex actually banned innocent pleyers.

i used it 5 times and gained 20k extra xp, i mentioned it in the bug report too and jagex didnt ban me so i guess it was not what they would call "abusing it" :p

@RonBest You're a pretty respectively high ranked player and Jagex also asks in bug reports if the glitch, or what not, can be reproduced. So, they can't really penalise you for repeating it, since you are pretty much jus trying to help Jagex out with running the game effectively.

as you know many top dungers were banned for "bug abuse", and everyone says it was for mling bosses or forcing ml

i ml all the time, i force ml for necro, i force ml for monos, and i wasnt banned

is ther a chance this is why people wre actualy banned?

i first thought so when i first heard about the mass ban, but after speaking to some of them as some of those who were banned were my friends, it seems they didnt knew anything about this glitch. They could be lying, but i think they were telling the truth, however it is possible that jagex for some reason think that they abused this glitch, even if they did not. or perhaps it was just a coincidence that ppl are getting banned 1 week after bug reporting the gitch :p
