Why include the int argc, char argv[] parameters in main?

People JUST STARTING C++ will not need to know anything about command line parsing.

Plus, if you learn from a POV of efficiency, it isn't good practice to allocate memory that will not be used by the program creating it. :D

I watched and yet i still know just about nothing....might want to rethink your tutorial format. Also PLEASE change your text color, as it is its very hard to read. I think you may have better results if you replace the text instructions with verbal instructions, the way you are currently doing it is VERY tedious for the viewer, and makes it very hard to see the structure of the program you are trying to teach us about. Just some ideas.

C++ is hard, but there's harder.

Visual stuff, you mean Win32 API, and if you go to Inferno Development website, you will be able to find many tutorials on that.

The reason I show console first, is because Win32 programming is much more complex, and will only confuse you--that's why everyone starts with console.

good vid i woke up this morning and decided i wanted to lear C++ i hear its the hardest language so should be fun. but all the vids i have found are only text based (as in the results are text)is there anything more to do with visual stuff?maybe even visual movement or even a small program that i could use to open various programs and files and folders at the same time so i don't have to go look for them in my computer one at a time?
