I just toured Mac i'll be going in 2012 but i didn't go into Bates. is the apartment co-ed? like do u have male and female roomates in the apartment together?

@marsypie1 Im not entirely sure as I didnt stay at this one in particular but, from people I met that stayed in Keyes they told me it was not co-ed

Cool, I got accepted couple of weeks ago, this is from 2010, so I'm guessing you've spent sometime at McMaster. I'm wondering, do you and your roommates know each other before Postsecondary or did you all just meet when you were assigned to your dorms? Btw how is First year Engineering Co-op? I got into that program. Thanks :)

I lived in Bates while a student at McMaster many years ago. Back then we had to bring our own furniture (beds, desks, livingroom furniture), which I think is better, though it made for chaos on moving days.

I was also there (in the apartment directly above) when the murder of Joan Heimbecker in apartment 205 happened on March 30, 1994.

@sasural1 .....No Problem, and the Residence buildings are all pretty nice, obviously some are newer and better, the only downfall is the beds, as long as u bring a comforter or a foam bed sheet then everything is good.
