a little help here, the smoke from trapcode just gets bigger and bigger and more opaque until the entire screen is blue ( or the color of the smoke) what did i do wrong ? (it's not the size over nor opacity over life )

@0zon3xPwnz I didn't say I was ONLY going to use Trapcode. Try making your own lens flare or using the default lens flare, pimp it out with some masks and color correction.

You REALLY need to do a test render (or at least a ram render) at the beginning of your tuts so you can see what the end result will look like!

@TeamKlutchCrazy Go down and click on "Toggle Switches" near the bottom of AE. Then you should see Transfer Mode Options set to "Normal" Change the Optical Flares Layer from "Normal" to "Add" OR just go to optical flares effects panel and change the render mode to Transparent rather than Normal
