Tower Records! I remember the 1st time I went into their massive head-shop. You want to talk about selection? ;-) I miss Almost Live. Old Seattle too for that matter. The trendy, sanitized, claustraphobically PC version sucks! Thanks for sharing, once Kiester took over Almost Live from Ross Shaefer? Anyway that's when it got great. Lame List, Billy Quan, Ballard Cops, High Fivin' White Guys, Uncle Fran, in it's hay-day better than SNL (WAY better than current SNL! Thanks for sharing. Peace!

The opening shot was the Seattle Tower Records that the almost live cast & crew came into regularly and where I worked in the 90's. In fact, around the time this skit aired I had had a conversation with Keister at the register about how I "secretly" liked the Oingo Boingo he was buying - I always assumed he took some inspiration from that..
