It is the "Autotune" an electronic device that you can sing your off key notes into and it tunes them for you. Even George Strait used it once on "Stars on the Water" but He made it obvious that he was using it. I love it, & yes Miranda does just fine without, but it's just that little extra polish that sounds really good....to me anyway.
