Sometimes its sad that people post their opinions on youtube.

I mean some people clearly don't know what they are talking about. To illustrate: I'm a RHCP fan for life, but that doesn't mean I think Chad leads this band and the others ride his tail..No! All of these guys are great, Van Halen is great, Joe Satriani is great, Led Zeppelin is great, and there are a lot of others now and in the past that are awesome!

Then why on earth do some try to point to one band/person as 'winner'?

Joe is awesome. He can go do whatever and it will pretty much be a success. The other 3 are just riding his coat tails. Don't get me wrong, I love their music and what they did in the past but I don't think they could pull off successful solo careers. Some excellent musicians work their whole lives and don't achieve a sliver of the success. Some others just happen to be at the right place at the right time.

dude, shut up. sammy hagar is a legend of rock and mike anthony didn't need to ride anyone's coat tails. chad smith is a sick drummer and they're all excellent musicians - i'm sure van halen fans are watching this and thinking "who the fuck is this bald guy??" and RHCP fans are thinking "what the hell is chad doing with these old sons of bitches?". i got into the 'foot cause of joe too but joe as singer/frontman has always been pretty yawn.
