1100 was my first gun. I used to shoot skeet and D.T.L with it and due to the weight could handle the recoil as I was 13 yr old unlike my Dads Browning over and under. Wish I still had it.

I am looking to get into skeet as well, everybody I talked to says the 1100 is a great shotgun....

love these 1100 videos. Just got my Great Grandad's 1910 Remington Auto-loader. Haven't shot it yet, though

I love my 1100. So easy to shoot, my wife (5'10" and 120) can easily shoot it, thats how easy it is.
Very elegant looking gun, and also, extremely reliable, I have not had a single failure yet with it.

Heavy is not necessarily a bad thing. The 1100s are among the softest shooting shotguns available. I love mine! If you ask me it's probably the best looking semi-auto shotgun around right now as well. Great gun!

I would agree. Having a little weight makes it feel like a "real" gun as well... not a toy

Its a great gun but a little heavy. Smith and wesson 1020 super is alot better

Dude, it is so fun! I have only been going at it for about 8 months, but with good instruction you can get to be pretty decent fast!
