@lamboboy333 My friend, it is my understanding that Belgian law has decriminalized up to 3 grams of cannabis. So if someone were to have less than 3 grams there would be no fine or confiscation. This is from many news sources.

It's illegal but they don't prosecute. It's a so-called low priority crime. I've been busted but they didn't even take our weed or anything, we lost our joint and they said don't smoke near kids, that was it. The cops think it is a waste of their time doing paperwork for a crime that will not even make it to court. In fact you can get away with any real crime if the penalty is under 2 years because our jail are packed over capacity already.

@01Wickedman If I were you stick to the Flemish main cities Antwerp etc. I lived in Brussels for 3 years (I'm Swedish & American) and I found Brussels to be an unusually racist place under the surface. And I travel a lot! i had a Moroccan g-friend and i was genuinely shocked at some of the stuff that goes on with apartments and jobs and comments. Try Sweden. They're like Germans but ohh so much friendlier and love friendly foreigners.
