You have to be kidding me! What a joke! I unfortunately have dealt with plenty of cold sores so I know all about them. They're usually triggered by stress, and I would get plenty of them when I wasn't getting enough sleep in college. And when I got them, I got them BAD. Believe me people, this stupid remedy will not work. Cold sores are VIRAL. The best way to get rid of them is to get a prescription to Valtrex or Acyclovir and get the pill form. Abreva is the cheaper, but less effective option.

these are a serious bitch. they're painful and hard to deal with and the worse thing is, others can see it. I'd rather deal with canker sores over cold sores any day. Unfortunately for me, I have an auto immune disorder so I can't avoid either. :\

I'd rather live pain free and feel better.

cold sore are VIRAL. no home remedy will help. you need an oral medication that is a viral suppressant. that's all that's actually going to do anything significant. some things may "help" with symptoms, but these aren't proven remedies.

I tried it and it didn't work as quick as i thought; maybe I had a real doozy of a sore lol. I'm sure on some level it helped. Perhaps your experience might be different :)
