Anyhoo, we don't need to argue who wins between Sonic and Shadow coz that's already been proven several times, and I will always choose the hedgehog with a history and personality rather than a robot who only got the outdated "badassery" to show. And for all those who say Shadow would crush Sonic with his rings off, where does it say it would make him FASTER than Sonic? He'd be drained out and defenseless WAY too fast.

I agree with you in that Sonic would beat Shadow, as has been proven several times in a lot of media, including games, comics and anime. But Shadow is still an organic life-form, this has been proven to be canon in the last story of this game by Eggman, one of his robots rescued him while he was falling to earth after SA2. Shadow is still the original from 50 years ago. Even in SA2 Shadow admits Sonic is the ultimate life-form if you fight Final Hazard for long enough.

@SonicPwn3z13 Looks like you forgot those 4 rings on Shadow's wrists and ankles. Those inhibitor rings suppress' his powers. If he were to take them off the "speed of sound" would no longer matter. He can rival the power of Scourge the Hedgehog(Original Archie Sonic the Hedgehog villain) without them on. Sonic can only get glimpse of that in his Super transformation. Shadow himself may not be inherently fast as Sonic without his Air Skates, but Sonic has a lower chance of victory.

Anyway, there are Shadow Androids in Shadow the Hedgehog, first introduced at the end of Sonic Heroes, and Shadow thinks he is one of the Shadow Androids in one of the (most likely non-canon) endings. In the true ending it's revealed that he is the real Shadow and was saved from the fall to Earth by Eggman at the end of SA2.
