Also, only the people that made it get to go get their putter. That way everyone knows who made it or not.

Yes, I agree & have played that way before myself in another tourney. Discourages cheatin'

Here in Oregon we play it from further back and if everyone misses, the people don't get to putt again. So if it's down to 2 people and they both miss, another prize is added and everyone putts. If this keeps happening, you can end up with a stack of stuff up for grabs.

What you may not see is they had a couple different rings with varying distances to the basket. I agree & have played with the rule that if the remaining people miss their putts everybody gets to come back in & you start over again. These guys had their own deal going.
