My husband told me the other day, "I aint goin nowhere and neither are you". We are great together..NO were not perfect, but weve learned how to love and deal with each others quirks and embrace longevity in a ral relationship.

This is awesome. This is what I like to see. I've seen this in real life when I went to college. I thought it was so cool how a lot of the other students came from married families. I thought they didn't exist. I think more of it exists than what we're hearing about . You can never trust the meidia or Oprah or Tyra to tell you the truth about the black community. This is so so so cool to see real married couples that enjoy being married.

Wow... what a sad commentary... growing up, all I ever saw were married black couples, and in the few instances where they weren't married, both parents were still there for their kids.... but now I'm realizing that I was living in a community that bucked the trends of the rest of black american... maybe the fact that it was a caribbean community had to do with it... I remember how SHOCKED I was when I first learned about the OOW rate in the BC.

I love the website, and I love the idea! I can't wait to see the findings of this documentary. Black love is unique, and when it flourishes, it's the strongest force known to man: my parents have been married for over 30 years, and they still deeply love each other. They faced three demanding kids, real financial problems, and much more, but divorce was not an option. The message of this film will undoubtedly be positive, and it will come just at the right time.
