Man! If they were stolen or given to the shop without your permission, you can get them back without having to pay a thing. Call the cops, explain it to them. There's no way you should have to pay a cent.

admittedly when i asked for them back the neighbour forgot they were mine when she gave them away and then gave me 60 quid :)
