  • Awesome Video, just about to convert mine (bought it 3 days ago) and this will be greatly helpful. I think my brother in law used your vids to help him convert as well.

  • @OIFV0608 Thanks, glad my videos helped. Good luck with your conversion.

  • great video man! i've been debating on buying a saiga ak and converting it. looks like a fun little project.

  • @MrRustytrombone Thanks. The best part of the conversion is afterwards when you fire it and it works!

  • I'd love to do to my Saiga 12 what you are doing here, but unfortunately the State of Connecticut says any semi-automatic shotgun with a detachable magazine it is illegal to put a pistol grip on it.

Yes I'm the same guy who also said AKs chambered in 7.62x39mm are illegal in CT.

  • @nbenicewicz And I thought Illinois was bad! I love how politicians think a 12 ga shotgun doesn't become "deadly" until it has a pistol grip. HOW THE FUCK does the location of where you grip a gun make it more deadly? Oh yeah, it doesn't. Sorry to hear that you can't make your Saiga how it was meant to be. Thanks for watching.

  • @the308capital You know Connecticut isn't bad in some areas as firearms are concerned but they get you in other areas. In CT you can get a pistol permit that allows you to purchase handguns and to carry them concealed on your person. You can also buy the fully transferable machine gun that are on the National Firearms Registry as long as they aren't select fire. Military style assault rifles are legal except the AKs in 7.62x39 as long as they don't have bayonet lugs flash hiders folding stocks.

  • @nbenicewicz My channel background utilizes a scoring system I devised to display how gun friendly each state is. CT scored an 84 whereas IL scored an abysmal 37. I utilized data from the NRA to create a 16 category scoring system. The biggest points loses were for gun registration (-14 pts handguns, -14 for long guns), -12 pts for high capacity mag bans, -10 points for no concealed carry, and -8 points for licensing to name a few. CT allows NFA items which is a huge +. IL BANS ALL NFA guns

  • @the308capital If I had my choice I'd move down south to one of the Dixie states like Virginia, Kentucky or Tennessee. Go to CCW by state dot com and look at the advantages of getting a carry permit for either Tennessee or Kentucky.

Land is certainly pretty cheap in Kentucky. If you have the money to spend of course.

  • very helpful, thanks.
