My dad bought one of these in oct of 83 7 It was pretty good right up til it hit 75000miles on it & then it went to shit...the computer went out & it cost my dad over $5000 to replace it..& then it went all to shit. sorry I'm still not a fan of chrysler
@brut2011 $500 maybe, but $5000? Get real@ Over a 23 year period I owned 4 of these cars: an 83, 84, 86, and an 87. Unless you ended up buying another New Yorker, you couldn't spend $5000 replacing ANYTHING on these cars.
WHAT A PEICE OF SHIT.... OMG DO YOU THINK ANY OF THESE CHRYSLER SHIT FROM 83 STILL RUNNINNNN???? no!!!!! I SAID NOW BUT I MAEANT NO BUT IM DRUNK OH FUCKE?!?!?!??????////.......
@san379 2.2 turbo, Red leather with tufted velevet, wood, Ulterimate stereo power everything and auto level with sport suspension. In other words, all the good options.
@EdwardPack1988 where did you find it.. ?? no e test billshi# cuz its old.. i would like that car..i have an 88 fifth avenue and hot rodded it and now wont pass etest and i didnt know it needs to pass >>>> cant get yearly stickers for my plate cuz it faild etest>> cant drive it at all
@san379 I found it on craigslist in the mountains of North Carolina. From what I was told, the mans grandma bought it in 1986, died in 88, and it sat since then. So far I replaced the fuel tank, pump and fuel sender cause it was to rusted in their, and it still runs, It needs a alternator and radiator. Alternator has bad regulator, and radiator is leaking everywhere. and the cluster recently stoped working. I think its cause of the alternator though. It still talk to you. lol
My grand parents had one of these and when they used to talk back at you the car scared the hell out of me at 2 years old (*even the Plymouth laser used to talk). But I give it to them Chrysler knows how to make a car small on the outside but big and roomy inside and these had room.

Is that why outer space is in the background?

@m3trooper 1970's Cordobas, Imperials, and some late 80's Lebaron coupes had Corinthian leather.
