@Pfsif The prevailing practice is to charge tolls on all bridges between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Tolls will be added to the Scudders Falls bridge and the one or two other remaining free bridges in the future. If it's any consolation, the dangerous looking Burlington Bristol bridge is cheaper than the Turnpike bridge a few miles upriver.
I can't believe they charge you money to risk your life on that bridge. Get your wallet out for the tickets you're going to get in Jersey.
